"WHERE WERE YOU ALL 12 MONTHS AGO!"

The rebrand ship sailed 12 months ago.

Last May I attended a meeting with Annis, Nukes, Dazzy T.....Bluebird1977 (Ian) was coming but couldnt get off work and some others where we discussed ways of getting rebrand reversed. After the daft ideas of painting pitch blue, blue smoke bombs on pitch etc were discounted we agreed on we would do whatever it takes as long as it didn't disrupt the team up until the Huddersfield game. Due to lack of fight and commitment shown by our own fans I had to make a choice.....either accept the fact we now play in red or hand over my ST (i still maintain that in my opinion, those are only 2 viable options) I couldnt give my ST back so swallowed my pride and got on board. I didnt like it but wasnt prepared to let it ruin the game I love and the club I love in the coming season.

12 months later........12 MONTHS LATER we get all these idiots now wanting to kick up a stink, protest, email and set-up petitions. Talk about closing the stable door after horse has bolted.

IMO you all have the same choice to make as I did.

The truth is they arent. On the messageboards they are but the messageboards dont represent the majority of fans. On the messageboards people have been kicking off about the rebrand since the day it came about but the reality is the majority dont actually care about the colour.

The rebrand is set in, most fans don't care, everything around the club has changed to red.........they aren't gonna waste money changing it back now. The time to fight was last May, we had 3 months...before the changes, we had a choice back then.......that choice has been taken away now.

Basically Craig the failure was down to leadership. Just none generated from the episode.

Checked some time sheets i was on the way bac from work in exeter, the ship sailed there was no leader willing to stand up or a face everybody knew, it wasnt me, it wasnt you, time went on people seen money over everything and football moved on to something new inside the ground. Modern football in here weather we like it or not nobody cares enough to lead anything big enough to counter anything that was done or been done and take the flack that comes with it, besides im 99% sure nothing will change everyway as nothings changed before so why now, there will only be more changes around the club clearly.

Whether you like it or not, we're in a much stronger position financially now. Liquidation is no longer a threat and pro reds can no longer peddle the "red or dead" shit anymore.
