Given Swansea's approach to 'spending' (rightly or wrongly) and their annual managerial 'merry-go-round' it looks like Laudrup will be on his way to pastures new sooner rather than later![]()
It's easy to take the mickey but I do (seriously) wonder what 'gives' down there or is it simply a matter of their managers being appreciated for their efforts at a small club?![]()

He's happy here and is likely to stay next season, Sky Sports and their 'sources' aren't exactly the most reliable and I'd be very surprised if there was a conditional clause that meant he has to be given £14 million to spend. There's no sort of issues between Laudrup and the board, Laudrup understand how good are board is and has a very good relationship with them. We will be given money to spend, that's a given and it just seems as if Sky are covering all basis on the story, so that the story doesn't lose all credibility when he's inevitably given in excess of £14 million to spend next season.
I like how you debate whether our transfer policy is right or wrong though, no debt, three of the signings of the season last season whilst your approach to spending has got you in tens of millions of pounds of every growing debt.

The way we run the club in the past has nothing to do with the way our owners run the club, which is what the original post is referring to.
I think he'll more than likely leave next season, but he certainly won't leave due to the budget. We'll be giving him a budget, and he stopped speculation about Negredo because he knows we can't afford to realistically buy him, he's in line with the board's policy of buying players and it's just the speculation that you get on the back of the season that we had.

It's not relevant to us, because we run the club on a profit under our current owners.
You spent £10 million in the summer, which you didn't have to spend. You have huge debts, yet you're still spending money under your current owners.
