As a target man I'd rather Befetimbi Gomis than Carlton Cole. It's not a done deal by any means, but it's refreshing this is the type of quality we've been moving for.

I hope Gomis is the type of player we are interested in. Wont lie and say ive seen loads of him, but he does have a decent highish rep, so if thats to go on we would have a cracking player, I would take Cole at the right price but that price has to be alot lower wages and knowing hes not first choice.

Got a feeling though that Gomis' agent might have stuck our name in, knowing we have cash to spend and need a forward to try and get bigger clubs in the premiership moving in a bit quicker and drive up his wage.
