I had a 360 when it came out then sold that for a PS3.

Thinking of going back to Xbox again now after seeing the xbox one. Waiting to see what the PS4 has got at E3

Here's the deal...

- You won't be able to play Xbox 360 games on Xbox One.
- If you borrow a game from a friend, you have to pay a fee to play it on your console.
- TV features will only be available in the US at launch.
- You must connect the Xbox One to the internet once a day in order to use it.

Sony is yet to reveal its own requirements for the PlayStation 4, but I'm confident they won't quite be as poorly chosen as this.

I love my xbox 360 but I hope that xbox does a better job explaining the xbox one at e3 because to me it just looks like a big box and just complicated to the average fan, hardly no insight on games except sports and cod but it doesn't explain how games work, pre owned games etc, it looks good for the tv and music etc but its got to explain the game side a lot better at e3 for a lot of xbox fans

Games link to your Xbox Live account. You can log onto your account on another system and use the game there, but if you were to lend the disc to a friend, he would still have to pay a fee in order to play said disc on his own system.

Unless you're willing to give them your account details, that is.

The best thing about it is the controller.

I'll probably get a PS4 and then when the adapter comes out get the xbox one controller as I prefer them to the playstation controllers which are quite slippy after a while.

I'm going to get both but by the sounds of it i'll be dropkicking the xbox by February.

Xbox is more succesful console for a reason in my opinion. Hardcore gamers that dont enjoy having a laugh go for the Playstation everytime. I love an xbox, because even if you dont feel in the mood for a game, you can still go online & chat with the boys and it's just more of a laugh in general.. Playstation is a pile of shit in my opinion. Always straggling behind Xbox & Microsoft

It's nice to have a party chat while playing a game or watching something. PS3 don't have that

Actually the opposite is proven true. The Xbox 360 was suited to a more hardcore consumer base that stemmed from the release of titles such as Halo that gave the console exclusive popularity from the off. This core stayed with the Xbox. The Xbox has always been a level above the PS3 in terms of difficulty online. The gamers are better and I owned both consoles and can tell you COD players on Xbox are 10 times better. PC is better again but then there is precision k+m controls so unfair to compare. The PS3 is more social in terms of mates in a room for a few games of FIFA etc and is actually the console of choice for FIFA fan boys and so forth because its an easy transition from the PS2. It was their norm.

Although I do agree that the Xbox 360 is great fun it actually has a more hardcore user base. I actually do think the chat facilities on Xbox Live are better as well which is why it is suited to a more hardcore user base as talking on line is something a hardcore gamer will do. Social for a hardcore gamer is talking online whilst playing COD. The Xbox 360 is brilliant for this. The PS3's chat facilities left a lot to be desired IMO.

I will probably get an Xbox One purely because the level will be higher, chat facilities better and I play FPS games more suited to the controller that Microsoft make with proper fully functioning triggers.

Obviously this could all change when the next consoles launch as the Xbox One seems more entertainment although I do think the fact you pay for Xbox does mean you also get a better service. I got bored of the PS3 quite easily as there was no challenge. Xbox players are better.
