I went there last year had a fantastic time believe it or not. Four nights in Kiev scorching weather food and drink reasonably cheap and a full day in Chernobyl on a private tour and would recommend it too anyone

I'm envious of you mate. Seen a program about the holiday tours you can do there, it looked very eerie, but a unique experience. Surprising how fast nature reclaims areas like that when humans leave. I'd love to do a tour of the place just to get a feel of just how devastating the catastrophe was. Don't think any man made disaster comes close to it, fascinating stuff

The Democratic Republic of Congo... or whatever it is called these days. You have to put up with incidents of rape, genocide and guerilla warfare but if you can look beyond that then there's quite a lovely environment to experience.

Tunisia isn't really a random place to go isit
Fri May 17, 2013 9:10 pm
Just back from Cuba, not the most random, but the countries changing, so if you want to go you have to go asap before it becomes more western. Id go back in a shot, hotel was great, and the wife and i were better looked after than we were for our 10 days at the atlantis in dubai.

I just like random places hate going to country's overrun by tourists . Never done a safari so Kenya sounds good but rather go there for longer only a short holiday this time . Going to Iceland end of year , has been recommended to me Reykjavik I think to see the northern lights but want a sun holiday with a bit of a difference .
San Marino is attracting me anyone been there with the football ?

Same. Also why I prefer inland Bulgaria to the tourist areas plus its cheaper in land. Good to experience new cultures and ways of life as well.
