Troy Deeney

Didn't really show a lot in our two games v Watford, but every other time I've seen him he looks a quality centre forward. Worth looking at if Watford don't go up?

That gets a  from me. He's unlike anything we already have and can really put himself about a bit :ayatollah: . Pretty sure Malky signed him for Watford when he was there too.

Our centre backs had a stormer at Vicarage road, fantastic performance. :malky:

Seems to get booked a lot. Either he's a bit clumsy or he's a right thug.

Re: Troy Deeney

So because Deeney is good its fine to have him in the team. Lets just forget he done 10 months for assaulting a group of people.

Yet Kevin Saint Luce committed a similar crime and everyone was all over it saying he was an absolute disgrace and the club should get rid of him.

Forgive my ignorance precious, but I didn't know that.

All that matters is Watford have forgiven him. His rehabilitation seems to be going well

Might not have the right attributes that Malky looks for

On 25 June 2012, Deeney was sentenced to ten months' imprisonment for affray for kicking a man in the head in a brawl. He was released after serving almost three months of the sentence, after showing his remorse, and since he was a first time offender.

My post wasn't aimed at you in particular so no need for the patronising comment.

At the end of the day you want a convict at the club yet were quick to jump on Saint-Luce when he committed a crime. If you're fine being a hypocrite then whatever floats your boat. You said it yourself, 'hes a talent'. Sums up exactly why you would turn a blind eye to his previous misdemeanours.

Campbell and Maynard, better players, better attitude.

Deeney is a fat, ugly, abusing f**k. Don't want him

Agree with Gwyn here.

However it took Scotlands no 1 to deny Deeney that one moment a striker can change a game.

How am I a hypocrite? People make mistakes. f**k me you get on my tits sometimes. Do you really think Cardiff would have got rid of Saint Luce If they thought he was a special talent? Reality check springs to mind.

I've changed my opinion in relation to events unfolding. Scarfgate, Tan's stupid interviews or speeches, etc. as many others did. I wont agree with Tan on everything, nor Borley, nor all fans because everything needs assessing from numerous angles to come to a conclusion. Not everything is black and white as some people like to think. Now, as already reiterated im passed caring because Tan has made his long term intentions known 'We will be red at home'. Done and dusted as far as im concerned and he's told it as it is. No compromise kit, no blue at home, hes told us as it is under his ownership so for those who are not 100% happy with the rebrand to just whether the storm. Sad, but true. Lets not turn this into another pathetic rebrand thread because its just a circular argument with no point. Lets focus on the threads topic.

How can you base your arguments on what ifs? Fact is we haven't had a striker that scored 19 goals this season. I rate Deeney. Oh and I'm not your son you gimp.

He's taken Watford to Wembley, but he'll always be remembered for booting someone on the floor. Scum!

Deeney is nothing like the current strikers we have. Completely different type of striker and would compliment Campbell or Fraizer. His issue is his attitude. Dont get me wrong, quality player, as proven today once again but surely you agree too many ego's or liabilities at the club in such an important season for us can only be a bad thing.
