Who believes Malky should make a statement regarding the Everton situation?

Re: " Who believes Malky should make a statement? "

The longer it takes for him to make a statement the more chance he's leaving.

Deffo, he owes it to us to be honest, we've given everything and put up with a hell of a lot. At least we may gauge what's going to happen

Alternatively nothing whatsoever has happened between Everton and Malky to date so why should he make a statement .

It would be good to get a statement. Uncertainty helps nobody.

We've given him the opportunity to get in the premiership, I don't think it would have happened if he had stayed at Watford he's had the backing of the board in all he's done... SO yes he does owe us something

Do you think Everton would be knocking if he was mid table at Watford

Because we've turned up in the pissing down rain snow and freezing cold to support him all season.

No managers are making statements, they are just answering questions put to them. Malky has not been asked the question in order to quell of in flame the situation.

Why would he came out of his own accord and make a statement? Would look odd.

Re: " Who believes Malky should make a statement? "

I think the fact that he's not made a statement actually says quite a lot.

Laudrup was quick to come out with a statement ruling himself out when it became clear that he was being mentioned in connection with the post.

Malky must be aware of the speculation. He could, if he so wished, nip it in the bud quickly and clearly. The fact that he has chosen so far not to do so suggests to me that perhaps he wishes to consider his options.

Both Laudrup and Lennon commented on the speculation when asked about it in their pre match press conference.

No doubt if you had a game this weekend MM would have been asked about it.

If he wasn't interested in the Everton job a statement would have already gone out. It was pretty immediate when he was linked to the Norwich job last year.

This.....

Look a jack with common sense, can we all calm down.

Laudrup and Lennon both answered questions put to them at pre match press conferences, malky hasnt had that opportunity, i would like a statement to calm my nerves but its not the end of the world if he doesn't, it wouldn't mean hes leaving :malky:

Remember Brendan Rodgers making a statement saying he had turned down the chance to speak to Liverpool and look what happened there.

You just never know these days so the only statement worth believing is when Everton name thier new manager.

True, which leads me to believe that Malky is interested in the Everton job. Otherwise he would have released a statement via the club by now quashing the speculation in my opinion.

No he never, he declined to answer any questions.

But Mackay is shrugging aside the talk and choosing to instead continue driving plans forward for the Bluebirds next season.
He was yesterday willing to talk about those aims for Cardiff, but politely chose not to discuss the situation at Carrow Road.

Or the club and MM have not been approached so there is nothing to say. Would look a bit "billy big boots" if he talked about a job that he hadn't been approached about.

Rodgers was very clever (or disingenuous, take your pick!) with the wording of his statement. It said he had declined the "current opportunity" to talk to Liverpool. Which obviously meant that he didn't want to talk to them officially until he knew the job was pretty much his.

So if MM does come out with a statement, read the wording carefully

I'd be absolutely flabbergasted if the club hadn't been contacted countless times by the media in the last 48hrs.

If we'd still been playing Malky would have had to have answered the question.

Malky needs to say something. In my opinion. :ayatollah:

I think he will be having talks behind closed doors with Everton and he wants to know if he's number 1 choice before any announcement is made
