Good player not given much of a chance this year at Stoke would be a good buy. :ayatollah:

Re: KENWYNE JONES

not sure id like the football we would play if we had him in the side.

Re: KENWYNE JONES

Not a bad target man but not exactly someone to get bums off seats.

Re: KENWYNE JONES

Re: KENWYNE JONES

Re: KENWYNE JONES

A massive signal as to the football you will be playing next year if true

Re: KENWYNE JONES

Wed May 01, 2013 8:24 am

only scored 3 pl goals this year, just the 1 last yr.

would prefer us to look elsewhere in my opinion..

wouldnt mind lukaka currently on loan at wba. im sure we can offer a better package than them...

Re: KENWYNE JONES

i have always thought Jones would do really good with some really good players around him.
But I have also seen he hangs his head a little to quickly when he misses a couple of chances.
I reckon in there some where is a really good striker, maybe Malky could bring it out of him,BUT! do we have the time to spend to bring that out, we need to have a striker who can hit the ground running. :malky:

maybe he will.... but i read somewhere in the week that fulham were intersted in loaning him for next season? i suppose it depends on whether chelsea bring in a new manager who wants his own strikers??

I don't think it's a matter of 'who the manager wants' at Chelsea. Abramovich spent close to £19m on Lukaku as an 18 year-old. If he wants him to play after his fine form this season, he will.

City are interested in Ajax winger Jodi Lukoki, though, so the name similarity's there.

You have been linked with him since january and at this moment in time still are.

By the way did three teams in the championship reach 85 points. :malky:

now the last time we spoke of this you ended up looking a right tit and it resulted in you sending me silly pm's , i really can't be bothered doing it again because you end up getting all arsey and upset , and as funny as i find your reaction it's a little bit boring :thumbright:

Explain how i made myself look a tit, also there was one pm and very blunt and to the point nothing silly in the slightest.

Also yet again as before you fail to answer the question, now whos the tit again.

Also Kenwyne Jones is apparently a target for both of us and has been for you since August, what was it about playing styles again.

Correct football which is a lot better than Swansea City :ayatollah: :D :malky:

£3,000,000 for him? He's hardly prolific. I'd rather us keep Helguson out of retirement another season. Does exactly the same job.

Another idiotic post Kenwyn Jones no thanks loses interest to east and not a Malky player, Lukaku a terrific player but no chance of playing for us, keep taking the tablets.

How is it an idiotic post, im posting what ive heard, im not bidding 3 million for him, its also in todays media, this is a message board to relay gossip, rumours etc etc, get used to it.

I don't think he will, Torres is Roman's 50 million golden boy, always starts, they spent money on demba ba and are linked once again with Falcao.

Lukaku wouldn't get in the side so will go back out on loan IMO, not saying we have any chance of signing him, but he would get more football playing with us then chelsea.

I would be happy with him. Looked the business when he was at Sunderland. :ayatollah:

Re: KENWYNE JONES

Wed May 01, 2013 5:12 pm

liked him at Southampton and sunderland, not caught a break at stoke and probably knocked his confidence not playing as much. good player when on form and he could be the missing link for Campbell and maynard next season to bang the goals in on a regular basis

Re: KENWYNE JONES

Yes please! The exact type of target man we need, pacey, mobile, powerful, strong as an ox and a nightmare for defenders to mark. He would be a massive upgrade on Rudy. Also, just because we play with a target man doesn't mean we will constantly lump the ball into the air for him!
