Still a Cardiff City fan, but I will not put a single penny of my money into Tan's red pocket.

Dont say I wont attend away games in the future, but def. no home games anymore, until we are back to blue and the BLUEBIRDS, with our Bluebird back as our crest.

I've never worn colours, just a badge. Not the new one, just one with a bluebird on. No change now, or ever.

Respect to Annis for sticking to his opinion. We all support 1 team, 1 club and that's Cardiff City. I don't think there is any fan who wants us in Red but want our club to be debt free and successful.
Personally I hate the rebrand but learning to put up with it, I'll never turn my back on the club I've always supported unless we changed our name.

NOW ANNIS , my friend, that is something we will always agree on , I will always be BLUE, and will never ever buy or wear anything Red or with the new badge on. I have really struggled with the Red shirts at home , but I keep telling myself we are still Cardiff City and we still have a Bluebird , thats what keeps me going.
I hope beyond hope that we will change back to Blue at Home one day , but I think it will be a long time coming.

No. Leeds City was a TOTALLY different club from Leeds United - in the same way that Bradford City and Bradford Park Avenue are.

And we changed our colours because the people of Yorkshire wanted it (Revie, the players, the fans) - not because some two-bit corporate shyster from Asia decided he wanted his lucky colour.

Funny you should say that cos a bloke I work with did just that, he now supports Cewnty..says he will not set foot in the CCS whilst we play in red. Very extreme if you ask me and who's missing out at the end of the day? he's supported the City for probably 30 odd years and just as the good times are about to happen he's decided either in blue or not at all.
Myself I think it's a bit OTT but everyone to their own, I believe the club is on the rise and we'll end up as a permenant fixture in the Prem and if people choose to miss out on that so be it.
I'll be there regardless and will support "The City" till I die, no one's gonna change my mind on that. I'm 60 years old and have been supporting the boys since my dad first took me when I was about 8 or 9, the club is on the brink of something big..far bigger than anything I've seen since watching the team so I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the ride, call me a plastic, a sellout or a traitor, I've got a mind of my own as has all of us and I'm quite comfortable with supporting the City in red.

I respect, but dont understand, if people want to wear red. We look pretty odd in the ground now half red and half blue, i think its gonna stay that way. Not sure what prem teams will make of it. Its unique at least i suppose. Shop is full of blue and bluebird items alongside their red counterparts- showing that the club knows a lot of us will never buy red or new crest items. One day we will be blue again i know. The badge bothers me less as wev had a badge change before, its just so damn ugly, and the prev badge was an awesome one. Blue forever....

Have to agree..the badge is shite but it will be being worn in the Prem next season by our team so I can live with it.

The badge is one thing i dont like its abit of a mess to be honest to much going on onit. The red jerseys do not bother me one bit, and to go and support another team instead is just pathetic. Cardiff City will always be Cardiff Citu and you support your city through the good and the bad times whatever they may wear

The decision that people have to make is..Is the City playing in red something they can accept? (albeit reluctantly) and if not do they stop attending games?
Personally it's not too much of a bugbear for me to keep attending games, I did it this year in the Championship and will do it next season in the Prem.
All of us have minds of our own and can make up our own mind, just wondering if some feel they have to oppose the red because mates etc would give them loads of shit.

I will never buy or wear red! I have rooted through my attic and have found my shirts from 17 years ago! Luckily I wore cloths far to big for me in the 90's and they all fit (just) so ill b flying my retro bad boys next season! As for the badge? Shocking! No thought or effort has gone I to it! We will have a blue away kit next season so ill be wearing that on FIFA 14! Sorted! Sorry Tan, no money for merchandise off me again next year! Which is a shame cause I used to spend a hell of alot! But hay, I'm sure were selling loads of shirts in Malaysia so you don't care about my cash! ILL ALWAYS B BLUE! Why should I go and support Newport because I don't except the change? I will buy the new red shirt and wear it with pride as will thousands of other season ticket holders, it is time to move on, I respect your stance, but it won't have any bearing on the way VT will run the club, this is the greatest time to be a City supporter I just wish that all will get along and end this pathetic squabbling for the good of the club, red or blue Cardiff through and through.

We want the success but not the changes that came with it. If we want Premier League football shouldn't we be doing our bit to stay there by spending whatever cash we have AT THE CLUB.

At some point the divide has to be less woolly and we are either all in or all out. Respect to those that have been strong enough to make the decision either one way or the other.

I am embarrassed that I cannot jump off that fence that so many of us seem to be happy sat upon.

Lets be honest we've done this thread to death, always brought back up I respect people's opinions and respect the fact some have stayed away etc my opinion hasn't really changed, in order to move on in any form of life business, personal u have to be willing to accept change those in life that do so are usually most successful and can deal with things, some will disagree but you can apply it to nearly anything, I disagree with many new policies and procedures in my job but have to accept and deal with these changes in order to succeed at what I do, the way I see the rebranding of our club is exactly the same, without a new business model and prudence and yes one mans vision as some see it out club cannot move forward, having studied business to long lengths I understand tans plan and red is symbolic with Asia and its prosperous and makes perfect sense if he does float the club on the Singapore stock exchange, anyways I'm straying from my point, history shows that only by embracing change can we grow so to me change is a necessary part of everyday life, and I know sometimes change is bad as some will also argue but generally change is needed to adapt, I'm used to change and therefore the rebrand doesn't bother me, took me a while to realise that as like I say change is hard but I have embraced it now an will continue support the club in any colour, I am not a massive purchaser or merchandise and never have been but will continue to spend money down the ground to support the club
