Another 'inner circle' forming..?

Mon Apr 29, 2013 10:41 am

With Sam Hamman's hangers on meeting up with Tan over the weekend I find it very odd that many are now calling for the other fans to now 'work with Tan'. Which leads me to think that there's a new 'inner circle' currently being formed around Tan.

Would that be a major problem?

depends on who you talk to I guess but all of a sudden seeing people starting to support the rebrand after months of them stating comments against it is quite frankly sickening.

I'd be surprised if it did as well - and I can see that it could cause problems, but it may also bring about more unity than we've had this year?

I based this on many comments which have been made by people I have spoken to since the weekend. You mention Ian well as another poster stated it wasn't long ago that even he was started facebook pages against the rebrand!!!

Emotions were high after the rebrand announcement. f**k me I remember giving Annis a headache down the phone when he told me. When it settled down was when peoples true feelings came about.

You can not even quote on here brownie to the point of somebody understanding whats said. The very threads here with atleast 95% of posters in there going off on one to the way they are today after all it was days after the rebrand.

There is not a hope in hell that Tan will create an inner circle because thats not how he operates. Sam only did it to use them as pawns among the fanbase and give him a foothold in the club after he left and by f**k has it worked!

Isn't that excatly what Tan needs to help change peoples minds on the rebrand as I dont think he can do it all himself

Not everyone as people are different. From my point of view im a total hothead, very often go mental about things, very often i open mouth before engaging brain......so when things settled and we found out the name wasnt changing ( i maintain to this day if that happened i would not go anymore) i became more pragmatic. From my time on here with Ian, he doesnt often mince his words so hemay well be of a similar position to what I was. I have always said i do not like the rebrand but there was no alternative, i have also said the only way to get Tan to change his mind is through diplomacy, i even stated that at the first KCB meeting when there were suggestions of painting pitch blue amongst other things.

Not that we should defend ourselves to a failed politician, failed hooligan and failed football fan, failed landlord etc etc etc

Whose minds does he need to change because as far as I am aware we have sold out of STs next season. The fans have accepted the red clearly as they still go. If they were as principled as you then that wouldn't have happened.

Failed politican..? surely if I got eleccted at one time then its not failed
Failed landlord..? hang on I'm still a landlord!!

Absolutely pathetic
