I bit cringy at times, but he honestly believe he means well, he admits he's lost the battle to do away with the bluebird and next season we will have red, blue and yellow kits, be interesting to see if he allows the blue to be worn away at all, he had no choice against Watford.

I respect the fans for making their voices heard in their quest to stay blue but there's got to be some compromise with the man who is financing us. I won't be part of any movement to drive him away, and I honestly feel heckling him and showing disrespect will do just that.

good to see some of the fans there last night had the guts to let him know their feelings... some faith in our fans restored...

That's a bit like your boss telling you he is reducing your pay by half and if you don't like it he will spit his dummy out and leave,so now you can't afford to pay the bills...what do you do?

He certainly got some guts to stand up and speak in front of everyone after everything.
At least he is now speaking with fans, he certainly seems a lot more involved and interested in the club than when he joined.

So trying to compare your personal working situation to the football club you follow is nonsense really then isn't it

Look I have no doubt that his heart is in the right place and that he has "caught the bug" by being involved with the club, but he still needs help with not just an advisor on football matters but football culture.

Few will doubt that we are a Premier League club now because of him, because of the money he has been willing to put into the club and because of the hours of hardwork and commitment of firstly TG and now VT himself. He can talk about the "Dragon" protecting the Bluebird until he is "Blue" in the face but the reality is money talks and his has delivered the dream.

I have no doubt that the "We'll Always Be Blue" singing, both at the stadium and during the awards evening will give him a better insight into football culture. Understanding how fans relate to thier clubs is in my opinion the best way of getting our traditional colours back.

But until suchtime we should respect what he has achieved for our club and more importantly what he has delivered.

A Premier League Club.

yeh, with one of the previous ones wanting to switch us to green and changing to something like Cardiff Celts...

why not switching colours every season, much more colourful then...

we could have an all white kit next, with a black duck as our crest...if it means Premiership football not a bad deal, eh?

He knows how to talk a load of bollocks.

Loved our fans singing "we'll always be blue", he laughed about it but it's good to get across that we still prefer blue. :ayatollah:

I thought he took it all very well Gavin and for the first time showed a bit of humour. I was sat on the table next to him and he was laughing and joking about the what was in fairness light hearted heckling. There were a few insulting comments being thrown about but as I pointed out to the one person without his money you would not be here at a celebratory dinner in his stadium to make insulting remarks.
One thing is for certain no amount of heckling or abuse is going to shift his stance on the red shirt
