Agree with you. They are inconsistent, and it does depend on the player concerned.
FA are too inconsistent and media controlled in their punishments (appears so anyway)

I did not know about the Defoe incident, but he does get away with a lot. He is a diving cheat, but never gets punished, whereas Bale gets the bad rep. AVB even said this.

May be wrong but as defies was dealt with on the pitch at the time I don't think the fa can give any further punishment ?

He had a 7 game ban previous for biting and it obvious it didnt work. So it has been increased, maybe that will work.

Plenty do leave it at the airport, plenty dont. Ive been to Benidorm and seen drunken swearing Brits peeing in the street like they would do here but thats a way of being they've taken over there and the same happens in Malia, Ibiza or whatever because there is a high influx of Brits. Some will go abroad and fit in or try too, others wont and will stick to what they know. Those coming into Britain are no different from us Brits going out. We're all human after all.

Countries like Saudi Arabia and Africa are not civilised nations though are they in total form like the UK, the US, Australia and other European countries? Fair enough but to say the people had any influence in the events that unfolded is ridiculous. It was poor crowd management, flow control and planning. It was the polices fault and possibly the governments but that has yet to be revealed as the documents haven't been released so that can't be said for definite yet, we'll have to wait and see.
