MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL AT THE STADIUM

has anyonelse noticed it is almost impossible now to get an internet signal on your phone around and during the match time in the stadium, this has got progressively worse over recent games, is there a reason behind it.

Can't the club do something with a wifi signal we could buy as a package for the season or whatever.

It's shocking Gwyn, I watched Man Utd this season at Old Trafford, Internet coverage was perfect!

it was always bad, but not its terrible, to the point where i cant even send a text let alone use the internet.

I'm with Three never had a prob with them dow the stadium, in my house 1 bar outside the front door full bars

More fans at the games so therefore there is more people in a network cell which drains on resources. Gwyn, just tell all the other 23,000 to get out and you'll have great signal.

I try to get on Live Score during the game and it hardly ever works. Whatsapp works perfectly though

I find it even hard to send a text once into the Stadium.. I am on Tesco which uses O2 back bone. I reckon they block signal within the stadium.

They need to sort it out, an get a shelter outside so I don't get f*cking soaked half time having a fag.

Stadium acts as a cage and stops mobile coverage. Club need to look at securing wifi throughout the stadium to improve it.

It's nothing to do with the stadium it's just the amount people all trying to use 3G on the same mast.

I've always had this problem, I never get a decent signal until I get back to my car. The club need to sort it out.

Back in the day fans wouldn't care about their mobile phones, they'd be more worried about getting their heads kicked in after a game. AMF

How ironic. People always complaint about 'student types' using their phones during the match or caring too much about other scores at half time, yet the ones complaining are the older ones. I never use my phone in the ground unless its to inform my dad of the score.

If you're worried about half time scores, listen to Ali. If you want to update your twitter, wait till you get home

Yes. If it means that much to you, turn your 3G off - that normally works. Or get someone to text you scores. To be honest, wi-fi wouldn't help that much. Too many connections to a hotspot would make it just as lethargic as 3G.

If you're that desperate to see scores, go down and look on the TV for SSN.

Never had a problem, tuesday was fine, uploaded photos to the net whilst the game was on, was checking the other scores fine, txts coming and going fine aswell, from the ninian.stand and i am with 3 but i have hered people mention thus before

Not a problemo on 4g. You could stream a film at half time it's that good. Please stay on 3G though, don't want you affecting my speed.

Cardiff is actually the first trial city in the uk for EE's 2nd phase of speed increases. A fortnight ago they recorded top speed if 90 meg! My home net only has 6.

o2 is shit in the stadium on an iPhone using a micro sim.

Take an old banger of a phone like a Nokia with the old school sim cards and you get full signal no problem.

Those old phones had beastly antennas.

Posh tw*t But most stadiums are the same. To many people in one area all using there phone's. But they have wifi covering the length of the channel tunnel so why not a stadium ?

There are many other reasons that cell phone out of signal in the stadium. Many stadium installed phone signal jammer.
