What route do you think the club will go down? Players with smaller reputations or go for a few bigger names?
Personally, I feel we will go down the hard working - smaller rep players (a little like Norwich) but as is rumoured, Tan likes his big name signings (Bellars, Giggs was enquiried about (if you listen to some) so I think there my also be a "big-name" signing or two.

Whey something postive!!!!
But seriously, I agree with you we will go down the hard workign route and signing younger british players like Norwich have done. Though it wouldnt suprise me if a big name was available Tan will want him

I can see us buying similar to southampton, like buying a big player for 8m then bringing in some free transfers from the prem and also cheap quality

I can see us going the Norwich route, bring in a lot of lower league players who can play at this level. They've also signed Ricky Van Wolfswinkel whose rated quite a lot in Europe, so I can see us having not a big name for shirt sales but I see us bringing in someone like what Remy is to QPR.

Congratulations on your promotion. If i were Cardiff I would try to consolidate with young and hungry players. Marquee signings are usually has beens. You need hungry players not someone else's cast offs

Totally agree and I firmly believe that' what Malky will do. The evidence is there from this season.

Dunno about marqee signings but we are going to need 5-6 prem players better than what we got if we want to survive IMO. I just hope its not the drift wood from teams going down

We Need Quality strength in depth, that's for sure.Johnny Williams is a must IMO.
Young Hungry and Gifted.

overplayed overhyped average payers looking for a last payday.

We should look to buy players like Kevin Doyle (because Wolves will probably still be in the Championship next season) and maybe Jordan Rhodes. Young (well, relatively young), hungry players. Maybe even chuck in some experienced heads, such as Phil Neville (leaving Everton at the end of the season). Personally, I think Malky will go down the Norwich route, i.e. buy from the Football League.

Rather have 5 good signings than one quality signing. Marquee signings can come in our second season. Our squad is far too weak to blow over half our budget on one player.

January is the time to bring in new players.Makay should go into the new season with the same team that got you promoted.See how you are doing in December/January and buy accordingly. It would be suicide to bring in a big time charlie on mega bucks who could disrupt the harmony and before you've kicked a ball. Also it isn't as easy as you think to bring in a 'marquee signing' when you're untested in the league and favourites to be relegated.Try to walk before running although Makay seems a lot more grounded than your fans, so there's hope.

I would invest some money in some good scouts . The one who put us in touch with Kymbo should be applauded.

Some big name from Japan or similar to help conjure up a new fan base.
Agree totally about wanting young eager and passionate players, but that said I wouldn't say no to giving Frank Lampard a season or 2. Frank and Kimbo in the middle. Drat, just soiled myself.

Fuller looked like a handful last night. Put a lot of work in. I think we a few good old heads in the squad, but a good five solid first team prem players will see us right.

Get Carlton Cole, Jonathan Williams and target defenders from the Dutch League, some proper decent centre backs who are not known but could do a job.

I believe (my opinion) that as far as VT is concerned we are only halfway to his goal.
Now i'm not Asian but I have friends and family who are and understand the notion of face. Face is not reaching the Premier League but surpassing that.
We will see the Cardiff City rollercoaster gain momentum through the summer as the ultimate aim is Champions League football.
Maybe not next year but there will be a 3 year plan to take us there.
