personally dont think hes good enough for the prem, but would be against adding him to the squad as long as he is A. cheap, and B.Not the only centre back we sign.

He should be our first signing. When Hudson got injured i feared we'd blow it, but Barnett plugged the gap superbly. His CV looks pretty special now as well.

In the few games we've seen him play, I think Yes, he's fast, good in the air, good tackler, and absolutely loves to head the ball. We need the cover at centre half and surely won't cost much?

I think we really do need to give him a massive thank you for the part he has played, he has been solid and won most of his Ariel Battles, and even went near to grabbing the winner last night with his shot. THANK YOU LEON

Totally agree, I have no idea why Norwich let him go but he's been superb.

On a more serious note, were Barnett's little kids alright? He had his 2 kids on the pitch and the fans charged towards him, must have been intmidating for his kids and it didn't look like he managed to pick them both up to safety in time? Hope none of his kids were harmed?

think hes been a rock at the back... never hoofs it away, always looking to make a pass... good reader of the game, a number of times last night i saw him being vocal at the back instructing some where to be etc... would be a decent signing if available on a free transfer...

I hope he signs. In my opinion he is our second best defender, and he only adds depth to the squad. I think we could get him for well under a million, just like Connolly. Very good business in my opinion. He's been brilliant throughout his loan, and winning promotion with us makes me feel like he deserves to have a chance in the Premier League as well. Cheap, good player, one of our best defenders, and a rock at the back.

We have done very well without our captain at the back. That speaks volumes for how well Barnett has slipped into our back line. Wish we had him earlier in the season. I'd sign him as back up for next season!

Only 7 isn't is? My guess is ten soe it he plays them all he'll get a medal.

Looks pretty decent , but not seen enough of him to make a decision on whether he can cut the mustard .

What a loan spell he had, being part of that!

He's been quality and I think we've only lost 2 penalties and a freaky defelcted 96th minute goal in his spell so far.
