If that gets you that angry then you have issues. Id rather them there than empty seats tomorrow.

The empty family stand week in week out is more of an issue in my eyes.

Says the man who gets wound up about people on a message board.

It's that sort of person that means that some of the "proper" fans will miss out, should we obtain promotion to the premiership. That's what annoys me about it.

define a "proper" fan though. 5/6 seasons ago we were averaging what? 13/14k? now we are averging 23k. Are these extra 10,000 proper fans?

What utter rubbish. The ones who live away, and can't make all the games? The ones that can't afford to go to every game?

Don't agree there, some fans might not know if they can have time off work very late

The has club cause this problem themselves of empty seats in the family by giving free seats to kids (new born babys), who may never turn up for games.

Saw a man in his late 30's in a Liverpool top leaving on Sat, had a coat over it but I'm a football top geek and spotted it a mile off.

Maybe for some, that isn't possible?

I notice you ignored my post again - what about those who live away & can only make certain games? Those who work on Tuesday nights?

Those who cannot afford to go to all games?

A) that's actually against club policy - tickets are non-transferable.
B) why should someone have to ticket share?

What a load of tripe.

Are people seriously having a to at a bloke because he didn't buy his ticket a month in advance?! Sadly, not everyone is made of money & some have to prioritise!

Jesus wept.

not having a go, just dont see how someone can complain about not being able to go when he is only able to buy a ticket on the day, this game was always likely to be a sell out, even from a month ago.

Tickets are always on sale well in advance, so the date someone gets paid, like this instance, shouldnt come into it.

If people just purely cant afford it then fair enough, it is expensive after all, but if people want to go, and can afford to go as well, then they need to plan in advance (when tickets are also cheaper too)

Maybe he just wants a season ticket for a team that won't be in the Championship next season!

Will people still complain when they can't get a ticket the day before the Man Utd match?

The days of being able to 'pay on the day' are over. Can you pay on the day at any premier league club (except Wigan).

These 'plastics' could be future Cardiff fans. Everyone has to start somewhere. All are welcome.

Who would they have cheered for in Carling Cup Final?

Who will they cheer when we play Liverpool in fixtures?

Not City fans to me.

Obviously we'll get new fans due to our potential position if we get a result tomorrow, I couldn't care less tbh, new fans are more than welcome, as long as they ain't in my seat happy days

I agree with the chuckle on this.

He has made sense on every post on this thread.

We have to look at the sustainability of this club.
And that is not by giving seats to non city fans. For
Short term money.
These are unlikely to support and create atmosphere
I'd rather give half price seats or 20 quid walk up spare seat go anywhere
Tickets for geniuine fans who are either skint or can't plan
Due to having less cashflow.

We have killed a walk up crowd, yet on saturday there were empty
Seats all throughout family stand!

Re: JUST SEEN IT ALL DOWN THE STADIUM

Best thing for the sustainability of the club is attracting in new fans, some of whom will remain fans.

There will be tickets available for general sale so if fans who can't make it every week can still get tickets.

Fair enough, but you can't stop those who can pay from purchasing tickets even if they are wearing Liverpool tops. The club couldn't possibley run a ticket system which takes all circumstances into consideration, unless of course tickets doubled in price to pay for one.

How do you impliment such a system? Would every purchaser of a match day ticket have to take a lie detector before being issued with a ticket?

We would all love only genuine City fans to get tickets, but it is impossible to cater for all circumstances.

They will be our rivals next season - a competitor.

By that notion, you'd be totally happy to see Guys buys tickets this season wearing Leeds tops, or Hull tops?
