The sit down shut up brigade

Wed Apr 10, 2013 6:03 pm

Your support is not wanted down the CCS anymore. Huge reason why our team tends to sit back and relax the last few minutes, they forget they have 20k fans on their backs and think they are in training. Top of the league and winning one nil at home and some of you looked as miserable as the Thatchers.

FFS we are Cardiff City not f*cking Stevenage. Its been the case for the past 5 years, f**k off and support the Jacks or stand up and get behind the team.

People are able to do as they wish. Who are you to tell people how to support on in what way to do it?!

I love the way some on here moan about the lack of singing etc when they themselves are in the sections of the ground that they are moaning about

No. nobody can tell other fans how to support the team. Everyone pays the same ticket prices (roughly) and they can do exactly what they want within their seat.

It's not up to someone pretending to be an old man on the Internet, to tell others how to support!

I bet you do exactly the same thing.

Re: The sit down shut up brigade

Don't see the point in 'fans' getting a season ticket if they ain't going to get behind Malky and the players because that is what 'supporters' are suppose to do. Half of them don't turn up and others just leave early. Atleast get your money's worth! :ayatollah:

Agree that people should not have to sing and cheer if they dont feel like it,but also no ones got the right to tell a fan for getting behind the team, theres no rule for how loud you are allowed to get at a football match
Ive got this one miserable b*stard in front of me in the canton who looks at me like dirt everytime i start a chant

Who are you to tell Tan what colour the shirts of the football team he owns is? People can do as they wish.

Such a brain dead hypocrite it's not even worth a response.

Everyone is entitled to a opinion however I resent what you are saying here, if everyone had a attitude like yours we would be finished. Fans are getting nervous thats all, we all know we should have won last night after outplaying a very poor side who as soon as we scored decided to play, If anyone should go and support the Jacks then Bluebird since 1948 off you go :x :x

Too many yuppies at the games now and One Direction groupies there with their camp metrosexual hairstyles. You have to be a yuppie to afford Compass' food. I've even seen a fan reading the Financial Times before a game. Back in the day at Ninian most of our fans couldn't even read. All they could do was chant. Its shocking.

Trust me the players respond to atmosphere!!

Why do you think they up there game when playing away?

It's partly to do with the vocal away following.

It's no coincidence that on Tuesday just before the goal there was a cracking atmosphere!!!

This team needs your vocal support they respond to it

A bit of an odd one for someone of such an advanced age to criticise others for wanting to sit down to watch the game. I would have thought 90 minutes on your feet is pretty tough for a old gent like you ;)

On a serious note, I agree with the 'need to make noise' bit but not the sitting bit...

There are many people who (for many reasons) need to sit to watch the game and it is damn right rude of others to obstruct their views in areas where they know constant standing is not permitted

But hey, I keep forgetting; apparently "We're Cardiff City. We do what we want"

God forbid anyone should consider the needs of anyone else, eh? ;) :ayatollah:

the fans aren't to blame for the team sitting back. The place was rocking leading up to the goal and as soon as they started sitting deep the atmosphere went flat. The football played is also part of the problem with the atmosphere
