" Calm down for gods sake "

A goal in fergie time cost us three points and our fans start attacking the players our manager and anyone else they can think of...we have a great lead in the championship and five games to get over the line if we had held on another twenty seconds things would have been so much more positive tonight...but we did it to leicester and Watford and that is football for you.....I am stunned, gutted and pissed off that we lost two points but confident we still will succeed.

Mario I have watch city for over 45 years and we are having our best ever season in all that time...I have seen us hundreds of times in division three and four so I don't see this as poor performances just a crazy league that is unpredictable...we played fantastic one season scoring for fun...both rod, choirs etc and were entertaining ..,where did we finish....this year we are not always pretty to watch, dour at times but effective and no manager in fifty years as got us to this position...I wish we could smash teams and be more better to watch but the style we play as got us 80 points from 41 games just Unser two points a game.

Overall we dominated today and were unlucky not to get 4 or 5.

Sh1t happens, time to move on.

We've had a couple go our way this season, there are bound to be a couple go against us.

Can our fans show the same mental strength our players have to get us here ?

We're doing a Cardiff, at the moment. Barnsley were extremely poor, we gifted them a point. I'm already dreading Saturday.

Spot on Corky, We are 6 points clear of Hull ,9 of Watford 3 points on Saturday and we will all be happy

Could not believe some of the comments last night, we are top of the league not in a relegation battle ....remember we are Cardiff City we have never done anything the easy way.

Were you actually at the match, if you were i'm amazed. The performance was excellent, we dominated the match for 70 mins until Whitts came on for Kimbo!! We should have scored at least 3+ last night.

I've been watching football for more years than I care to remember, I've played at a reasonable level and managed/coached too; if that was a poor performance then I clearly don't know a thing about football  :?

There were times last night when we passed the ball like a Premier team. We pressed, retained and penetrated but, above all, controlled the game for the first 70 mins.

We were clearly lacking a goal threat (hardly surprising with Campbell and Maynard out) and sat back too much once we got the breakthrough but to call it a "poor performance" just shows that Malky and his team will never please some people :laughing5:

Mistakes were made and we certainly should have finished the game off well before the 97th minute but the last 3 performances have shown that it's not the players who are nervous but the fans

Forest will be more open as they will be coming for a win but I really think that we can win the next two home games, I'm not so sure that Watford can win their next 2 away games which means Tuesday could be a hell of a night :ayatollah:

Yes I was there and bored rigid.

We dominated posession because Barnsley allowed us to and come for a nil nil.

We did f**k all with the posession. We had no zip in our play and hardly made their keeper work. We didnt open them up once. Only save of note was from Jordan Mutch 25 yards out

As for Jose Mourinho above who says we passed the ball like a premier league team, do you mean the Welsh Premier League?

It was dour last night and we got what we deserved for camping on our 18 yard line after we scored.

Fair enough but your reply still smacks of 'carpet sweeping under'

I accept we will be promoted but this season has been far from vintage and feels nothing like the last time we went up as Champions in 1993.

I still think we are papering over the cracks and I just hope that doesn't come back to haunt us next season, if we continue with this dogged type of football.

Oh amazingly clever 'were you there' quote

Yes I was there for the whole 95 mins and all I saw was a team off colour and devoid of ideas. Again we had to rely on scoring from a set piece and spent too much time f**king about instead of getting on with the job and putting the bloody ball in the back of the net.

Admittedly Kimbo was one of the exceptions last night, so why was he taken off for that lazy barstard Whittingham?

Yes we are top of the league but when you can't beat Barnsley at home and lost 6 points to Peterborough something is not right, especially with the squad we have.

Like the sarcy comment knobhead

I don't claim to be an expert but for anyone to call that performance "poor" probably means they are better off watching Welsh Premier football :x

God help us if we do go up because people like you are going to hate the style of play required in the Prem

Put it this way Tony, I come home devastated at the fact that we lose two points with 4 Fecking seconds to play....I know I am in for a sleepless night(which I just suffered) and then I see post after post attacking the manager, players etc...from our own fans...I just wish we could get over the line.

I can understand people in the heat of the moment letting their disappointment get the better of their manners - but to berate your team in this fashion so long after the final whistle smacks of a level of unhappiness that is beyond football's capacity to help, let alone Cardiff City's.

I could not sleep well last night, kept seeing that f*cking ball trickle over the line - but we take it on the chin, look at the REALITY we are in and address it accordingly.

I thought I was a bad loser and had issues with my unhealthy level of competitiveness, but some contributors on this forum must have kept counsellors in work for years.

Come on boys, we are all gutted, let's have a little perspective.

Up the City :ayatollah:

You need to get a grip, we could've been out of sight last night but that second goal just wouldn't go in, I was and still am frustrated that we only got a point, but we're 1 point and game closer to reaching promotion. You can't dread saturday look forward to it mate it's the closest we've ever been.

Edging towards promotion

Cardiff City now need a maximum of seven points from their last five games to guarantee promotion
Providing results go their way, they could be promoted against Charlton next Tuesday
