Chris Coleman said tonight....

Fri Apr 05, 2013 11:16 pm

on the fantasy football show, he was asked about going to different games, he said

"well im going to watford tomorrow who play (big pause) cardiff, because zola is playing 3 in defence and i want to see how his tactic works.

rather than saying, their a welsh club, or saying im going to watch "so and so because theres some welsh lads there "

I was thinking that. I don't care if he's the Welsh manager to be honest, I don't like him.

He was just saying something he thought was worth while posting. Just because you don't think it's interesting doesn't mean it's not.

Or Coleman having a dig at us by dismissing us, saying he is watching Watford.

If the manager is a Welshman it shouldnt matter where he is from .Get behind him and give your suport not act like your 11yo dont like him as hes a Jack. When they play for WALES we should all give 100% to them, its not as if there trying to lose deliberately. They are representing our country thats good enough for me. Even if half the team are born in england they at least want to play for us more than can be said of some ex super stars.

first of all i did not say i hate coleman. i did not say he is pro jack.

all i said was, as a welsh manager rather than watching welsh kids or looking for someone else who can take the step up to international level, hes watching watford because they play a 3 man defence.

he could of even said, yeah im watching to see how bellamy is looking.

i feel as the man in charge of our national team, he should know, that he has to watch what he says, few weeks back he was at either the rugby or horse racing, cant remember which it was with charlotte jackson, rather than watching football, looking for some talent.

Re: Chris Coleman said tonight....

If the point is hes no good as manager for Wales then i agree, but until he is replaced i will suport him.

With the next competitive game about 6 months away, why would he be going to see how Bellamy is looking?

What a waste of time that would be.

Wouldn't he be better spending his time looking at how clubs use different formations and witnessing how effective they are?

You cant talk sense about football on here NJ73.There cant be many welsh players 1 in the city team and undinese.

I find it hilarious how Coleman gets under people's skin so easily. The guy only has to breathe and someone is creating a thread on here about how Coleman stole his air and he is suffocating.

Re: Chris Coleman said tonight....

i find it funny how people are missing the point. when wales play football i read and hear about how we dont have a striker to make us that team to go one step further. or we're missing players in key positions.

now this thread is based on the fact he said hes going to watch watford because they play a 3 man defence. rather than going out to watch some kids play football, or look for some talent hes going to watch a team play a 3 man defence.

i can see roy hodgson saying next week, im off to rochdale to see them play a 5 man attack, forget talent and stuff, i'd rather see a tactic in lower league football, and not watch how class teams play even

Grow up you idiot. Colemans going to watch Watfords three man defence not Watford. It just so happens they are playing Cardiff who are the best team in the league so it makes sense for him to see it against a good attacking side. You act as if he hasn't seen Bellamy play before, surely he's passed scouting players like Bellamy and Bale. He knows what to expect.

Why would he watch us because we're a welsh club what's he going to gain we only have one welsh player as well.

Re: Chris Coleman said tonight....

Did we win the rugby?

Lots of tools around South London with fat ugly tarts earlier speaking in "posh" welsh accents. Fuckwits tried to have a go at me, a simple "is that where you inject yer steriods" whilst pointing at his arm should have diffused the situation. Made the twats worse, they were going to kill me and everything.

Re: Chris Coleman said tonight....

What a stupid thread.

How many welsh players do we have? Bellamy is the only one isn't he. I'm pretty sure he knows all about Bellamy by now  he strikes me as a very honest manager. Why would he have to say he's coming to watch us. Watford play a more similar style to Wales than we do, I'm sure he is going to the match for the reasons he says.

Pointless thread by a bunch of prescious souls

He's a prick why would he watch and consider using the tactics for a team third in the Championship' that have conceded more goals than us???

Surely he should be watching the top premier teams for their tactics???

At least Coleman now knows that tactics exist.
He used to think they were little mints.

I think the point your missing is that he isn't in charge of developing a kids career or digging out some unknown gem that is the job of the clubs , they have to be of a certain standard before they come on to his radar as an international manager and be of a certain level of experience , unfortunately for him the pool isn't very deep at the moment , and I doubt watching one watford game is going to be too much of a disaster

Don't be silly, if he called up a player from Havant and waterlooville under 17's there wouldn't be any negative said about it

It's crazy isn't it, now he's Wales manager he can never go and watch another match again that doesn't have a young welsh player involved. The man can't win with some on here. if he wins a match the scorer of the goal won it, if he loses a match then it's all his fault... Very entertaining to read I must say.
