I was told alot tryed to get the train to the game from wherever due to wanting to drink in pubs in town leaving some buses empty and the police obviously had a say in this seems they was already travelling with the club yet got dropped off elsewhere

corky wrote:yes it was the easiest RV point in history, one minute stop and then a fast escort through traffic to the awaiting town with all pubs open to everyone, saying that, I hope Tony can just get a warning or bollocking and be allowed to continue in the travel club. He takes a lot of fans to games and they don't all deserve a collective punishment...surely a final warning would suffice?

yes we went to huntington had a few beers, train to peterborough
a few beers in pub and went to ground, can't see what the problem is ?. what was the point getting back on coach togo services to be coached in ( and yes it sounds like it was a good job by the police but how many times we been stuck at rvp for hour ). we simply hada beer and took the easy option get a train or taxi.
tony had text after game to say he was banned from travel club, totally overthe top .

The bus did, as instructed. The rvp was for the police to escort all the coaches to the ground in one convoy to ensure the fastest route to the ground and easing traffic in the town. Wether a bus got 50 people on it or 5 it still takes up the same space on the road. The fact some people got off and caught a train is totally irrelevant in my opinion. It wasn't a bubble and people were ok to make their own way to the ground.
