Disgraceful if true.
Regardless of accepting the rebrand, surely EVERY true City fan would rather see us in Blue.

Obviously some fans have personal gains riding on the rebrand being a success and Hamman getting his pay off from Tan

is true, fans starting singing we'll always be blue, few got pissed off shouting 'but we're f*cking ref' and then more words were exchanged and then the scuffle started!

You say that as if there were about 6 of them. 95% of the stadium was awash with red, red shirts have outsold blue ones to a ridiculous degree, we now wear red to home games, our stadium has been sounded out to turn it red, we now have a red dragon as an emblem, people who call us blue are punched by fans...... We are red.

Re: WE'LL ALWAYS BE BLUE...

We was blue but we are red now so how can we always be blue, makes no sence

Exactly,

The only ones who can claim to always be blue are the ones that haven't supported the rebrand and stopped going as soon as it happened. Every penny given to the club is another nod of acceptance in Tans eyes. You go to the matches then you are cheering on the reds. Simple as that.

Depends how you look at it i hate the rebrand but like everyone else i had no choice my point is we are red now for how ever long so where was the songs like this back at the start of the season and the fight in fans when all this rebrand was going on, does make you wonder as its to late now, it is what it is down the club sadly all we can do is support the team on matchdays.

That photo is like North Korea propaganda!

There was a bit of red in the seats among the old folk and a few kids.

At least 90% blue on terrace among those wearing colours.

The red stormtroopers might not like it but that's the truth.

So by some of your posts we have to except we are red and be good little Children and shut the fook up. I was not there yesterday but i heard it was around 98% that was singing we will always be blue. That is massive and a kick in the teeth to those that have embraced the red ( not the reluctant reds) .
If we struggle next season then this will get stronger. So it looks like Tans free scarf give away was a bigger own goal than we first thought. It was shoved down are throats and a message to the blues you aint wanted. Sad that he wanted to take the piss.

Fair enough nukes....I don't know where you get 98% from you should be a politician

The fact is though that we were playing in red yesterday and at a crucial time of the season.
Lets get the job done and then we can look at the rebrand.

One of Two scenarios will happen next year.
1. We have a good season, even more supporters will get behind the Red or at least it will become more irrelevant and I would say that even though we do really well a lot of the older supporters still going who find it hard to accept the Red will go less and less as they will feel that the club has totally changed, with the influx of new supporters who will embrace the Red wholeheartedly. The result being that by the end of the season, the large majority of those attending will not only be in the mindset of accepting the Red but embracing it, even perhaps the odd chant with Red in, may be heard.
Or
2. We have a poor season, resulting in relegation. The supporters will get hugely vocal against the Red, less pro Red will turn up for games and the pro Blue voices will get louder and in fighting will become a normal match day occurrence. The away support will be very fervently Blue, which will cause problems. There will be protests towards the end of the season, leading to who knows what!

I hope to God, for the sake of our club, that we have a successful first season in the Premiership and Scenario 1 happens. :ayatollah:

Which bit? You don't believe giving tan your money isn't seen as acceptance to him? You cheer on Cardiff your not cheering on the reds?

Get your head out of the clouds.

Steve, EVERY PERSON who sung that song have ALREADY ACCEPTED the 'RED' just by their attending that or any other game involving Cardiff City FC

I don't like it (the Red) myself but it's time (for all) to give it a rest. Surely by now the penny had dropped that NOTHING will change in the forseeable future and there are currently far more important things going on, such as gaining promotion

There really is only one way of discarding the Red and that is to walk away (and only a few have actually done that) :ayatollah:

steve, you are not naive enough to believe that all those singing (mostly drunk) are REALLY anti-red to the extent that some are, surely?

We know you're hurt over it but (as I've said before) you are in a small minority in reality, as most have already accepted it and moved on :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Mate there was a lot more than forty people singing we are red who gives a f**k. Which was then followed be a we always be blue which most of the red singers also sung that were near me.
I think you getting your stats mixed up mate and 98% of peoria don't give a f**k. Because most are intelligent people who really got better things to do than constantly cry over a change of colour and would rather enjoy they saturday afternoon supporting Cardiff City like they have done over the years.
