not exact numbers but was told this morning that cardiff city season ticket renewals are only about the 14k mark at the moment which leaves about 4.5k who have not renewed going into the last day
maybe more people than we thought are pissed off and will not renew ?
good news for new fans as there will be a shitload of season tickets going on sale next week
Sat Mar 30, 2013 9:24 am
Got a feeling we will sell them all no matter what.
3 points today is what counts at the moment though.

no doubt they will all sell just a bit shocked so many are either not renewing or leaving it till the last day

Official club statement yesterday said they were on track to sell the 20.000 limit?

Your figures are wrong.

It will be interesting to see how many they allow to buy from the waiting list which is now well past a 1,000.
It is true that quite a lot of current season ticket holders have not renewed yet, but they still can day.Fans do leave it to the last moment.
Sat Mar 30, 2013 9:49 am
I would be very surprised if any season tickets made their way back on to general sale.
There are enough people on the waiting list to cover those who choose not to renew.
I think it's a shame that the club are not actively planning to expand the stadium over the break to sell MORE season tickets. I'm not talking about the extra tier, they could easily reconfigure the main bowl and infil 3 of the corners to create extra capacity.

Tans 25 % !
I will await the official figures but if this is correct , then it will send clear sign back to Malaysia that all is not well .

Not when all those not renewed are sold to those on the waiting list.
Sadly they will have been replaced in Tans eyes by 'new' supporters so he won't care.

Yes that might be the case , but by when ?
Sometimes, it's not what you say but what you don't say .
I'm not going into this one in too much depth in case the figures are incorrect but I suspected something was not quite right in camp Cardiff.
I will also say if the figures are correct then the club will not be openly publishing these figures .

Dicey, you seem to be saying that what ever figures the club give out on season tickets you would be minded not to believe them, however, you are prepared to believe rumours on the internet or on some feeling you have about sales.I do not know the figures on sales and I will wait to see official figures from the club and not internet rumours(not having a go at Thomasblue by the way as he seems a good poster)What I am trying to say is that there are too many agendas around at the moment and people will spin the alleged figures for their own points of view, lets just wait and see what the figures are. Also I think we will be able to work out the numbers that have not renewed from e ticketing when they put them on sale from April 3,for what its worth my guess is that around a 1000 will not renew for various reasons, rebrand being one of them, but as I said no one will know until next week. Cheers mate.

There are a lot on this board which have reluctantly renewed their season ticket based on fear of this waiting list.
In doing so they have unknowingly used any leverage that they had against the club to change the colours back.
If these figures are correct then some part of them will be regretting not standing by the side of their fellow supporters.

they were estimated numbers from somebody i know down the ticket office , im sure they are very busy today and that number will increase massively , i have no agenda i just forwarded some estimated info i found interesting . there pretty confident s/t wil sell out which is why they said there on target but they also expect a few to go on general sale after the waiting list .
Sat Mar 30, 2013 11:34 am
Payne, you will be able to move from Monday to Wednesday next week, if seats become available, which there are sure to be some.
Sat Mar 30, 2013 11:36 am
payne89 wrote:would i be able to move to another seat then if better ones become available?

This isn't 2interesting news" its gossip, rumour or even one of the anti re-brand posters who love to stir it up.
If figures are down a tad it could be down to all the seats that have remained empty in the family stand all season.
Sat Mar 30, 2013 11:50 am
nice one lads.... one last question, is the ticket office open monday?
Sat Mar 30, 2013 11:54 am
Yes it is open,to move seats you need to do it before mid day.

personally i couldnt care what peoples stance on the rebrand is i only care about my own
this has nothing to do with the rebrand its season ticket renewal sales , you brought the rebrand up we will see if its right when they open up for sale thursday

I've just spoken with the ticket office and the current number of ST's that haven't renewed as yet are a couple of hundred.

They also said that they had been much quieter than anticipated today and yesterday. I suspect that most ST's have renewed but we'll know on Tuesday. Anyway, 3 points and a Hull loss would be nice today as yesterday was a very Good Friday indeed.
Sat Mar 30, 2013 1:50 pm
Really sad that die hard city fan's not renewing. They've seen some crap in the past watching City playing on a cold wet Tuesday night against Hereford. Real shame

Then name your source......it's hardly a state secret.
Just another potential "look at me, I'm in the know."
