CLARIFICATION OF FC BLUEBIRDS SITUATION

Wed Mar 20, 2013 1:58 pm

Contrary to many reports we would like to clear up recent statements.

We have been in dialogue with the FAW and the FA for many weeks concerning an application request to join the Western league, the latest response was expected and we continue as we always have to investigate every avenue.
The news we received has not dented our hopes or our determination to achieve our goals and we have asked those signed up to give us their feelings on our future as we are a fans club for the fans and they have an input into decisions made at the new club.

The English pyramid is not out of our reach and as we speak legal advisers are investigating our situation, should we end up in the Welsh leagues it will be because those supporting the club want it but we will be supporting a team wearing blue, white and yellow and representing the Capital.

The club goes ahead and we have a good supporter base ready to make it a success which in our case would be a united group supporters enjoying the matchday experience win lose or draw. The FAW have kindly invited us to make an application and offered their help and support.

I'd track their progress and go to a few of their games when City weren't playing

Potentially though, you could poach our fans, from this site, for this new club?

We have no intention of poaching fans from this or any other club we are simply offering an alternative for those unhappy with the rebrand.

But using this club and this site to do it?

Seems wrong to me as a Cardiff fan.

This is good news. I'd probably follow both then and would love it if the club were in the Welsh leagues personally. Whilst working up the English system would be fun in its own right and trips around Wales (doom and gloom) may not be ideal, the pay off when the team gets to the Welsh Premier would be brilliant, especially if they got in Europe.

Agreed, I think this City has the potential to have two big teams, one being the English pyramid team and then the phoenix team, imagine if we both met each other in the European leagues? Wow.

I'm a Cardiff City fan, us? I've always been a CCFC fan and nothing will change that, my mates sway my decisions, I go with them, I enjoy it, i enjoy watching City. Just because my name's I Bleed Blue doesn't mean I'm a Pro Blue

by making a new club is as worse what TAN is doing now.

making a new club with no history, is not right.

in my opinion just keep fighting for our identity back. :ayatollah:

Do you f**k!

I hate to tell you this, but 'likes' on a Facebook page does not constitute a 'good fanbase'.

The whole concept is laughable. It will never get off the ground.

Question for the original poster:

If Tan goes back to playing in blue and has the bluebird on the crest, will you still go ahead with the new club?

When this new club idea was brought up before and I asked you what If we went back to blue etc with old badge you said you wouldn't go back and you'd probably play 'us' one day. You said it not me

It's also a site for attention seekers too from what I've seen written. Who the hell wants a new club formed?

Genuine question - Why if a colour means so much to you, do you want to support a team wearing blue, white and yellow ?

When in the 70's some idiot with no sense of the great history of our club introduced yellow into the shirt I was horrified - It was 70 years of history down the drain ! But as it was just a colour it didn't affect me supporting the team.

Now a group who claim that the current owner has thrown away 100 years of history are using the colour yellow - A colour that has nothing to do with our club.

The world's gone mad.

I suppose your right there.
In some ways, these fans now want to support a colour????????
Have they been following Cardiff just because we were Blue?
There must be plenty of clubs to support who are blue. :laughing6:
The also say about throwing out 100 years of history (of which is impossible, because it cannot be changed) for a club that has no history??
Crazzzzzzzy! :tard: :tard: :tard:
