Incorrect. The shirt and badge was revealed in June, not the day after West Ham

Such a shame. Never mind though eh, as long as we get on Match of the Day

In terms of the few lowlifes they are allowed to have an opinion and Ely Boy won't be to much bothered by it as he has put up with it since he has posted his views.
I respect peoples choice if they can't go with it.. we all have an opinion and we make our own decisions.

Like you, if all I'd wanted was success, I'd have followed one of the big Prem teams over the decades, but I'm City through and through and unless success comes to City, I don't want any part of it. I do however want City to be as successful as its humanly possible to be.
I feel for the op, as he clearly comes across as really genuine and a true City fan.
But for those of us who support VT, it's not all about success, and our loyalty over years (both sides of the rebrand divide) shows that, but some people just can't get that worked up about a colour - after all the previous owners we've had, we've now got one who will back us financially all the way and the results on the pitch show his plan is working.
I fully respect the views of those who feel differently, but worry about the way some of our fans are still saying those who embrace the rebrand are sell-outs, as you can only sell-out if you go against any principle you hold to - a badge and a colour just aren't that important me, and I suspect aren't to most of us who do support VT.
I hate the way some people are gloating, who are on my side of the debate as well though.

I think the difference of opinion between both sides is so strong and so opposite let me explain my way of thinking.
I dont understand for the life of me why a Cardiff City fan would allow or support anybody that removes are identity I dont get why any fan would allow it to happen its the very core of the club what represents us now and in the past .Its something to associate ccfc 2 and above all something to guide your pride to im proud of it and its gone and some fans dont care or mind .I am baffled by these fans then comes the anger towards these fans ,
The problem is fans on the other side of the fence feel totally different so each side can never agree and thats what Tan has created. The term sellouts is used because some fans feel other fans didnt stand by the club the problem will go on and on .

I feel that our identity is the name Cardiff city and playing in the city of Cardiff not a colour blue ,also red is our national colour and I'm a proud Welshman so the change of colour is not a big deal to me and that's for the majority of fans ,ats about opinions everyone is allowed them

If we were like other clubs with fans representation on the board (fans as a collective, not a fan who happens to be a board member) then yes you would have an argument but we dont so we have no control over anything that happens.
You have two choices either recognise the club despite changes is still your local club or walk away.
I wont feel sorry for someone who deliberately boycotts the club thats your choice you could just as easily watch the games. I respect your decision as at least you have made a choice, unlike some fans who say hate the rebrand, disgusted with what Tan is doing will never support him by the way renewed my season ticket last week. So in actual fact you are supporting him as your giving him all your money.
I hope you do come back, I feel it a shame that a moment like promotion you may miss out on especially as its something we have waited for, for a very long time.
