Good luck

Rome wasnt built in a day. Well done to all.
I was glad to see lots of blue last night. What we need is a big blue flag in the ninian stand with our old badge on so that tan will see it directly.

Are you sure it was 40?

Just came back from there. There was between 30 to 40 people. From an outsider perspective, a very constructive meeting.

Just got back myself,
As said above about 40 in attendance and a decent constructive meeting
This is unlikely to be a short term aim, and personally believe it should be about more than just keeping the blue kit, it should also involve keeping the proper badge and our name as well.

Who organised the meeting? Is it an official supporters group or something?
I've been out of things for the last few days so I have no clue what's going on!!
Wed Mar 06, 2013 11:39 pm
Well done, I think 40 aint to bad considering it wasnt massively publicised and on a weeknight the day after a game.
Were any plans made for what to do next?
glad its going to be a monthly thing,
also, did I read somewhere that the notes were going to published?
Wed Mar 06, 2013 11:39 pm
Any notes on what was discussed?

You may be happy for City to play in red with a badge that looks like a nine year old did it in detention, but many of us are not.
Is there any need to mock and deride other fans for trying to make a difference?
It's just a start, and I suspect there will be considerably more than forty at the next meeting. Good effort to those that made it tonight.
One day we will be back in
Cardiff City BLUE

He doesn't have to be 'happy' (few of us are) but he does have to be
realistic and let's not forget the purpose of this meeting was to consider the formation of a (quote) 'new' club to rival/replace the existing one
Whilst I salute those that turned up with the best interests (in their opinion) of Cardiff City FC at heart, the numbers simply tell the story, i.e. 0.14% of capacity turned up, leaving 99.86% of supporters who didn't attend in a
slight majority
Put another way: For every
one fan that turned up
675 supporters
didn't
Even George W Bush couldn't 'fudge' those figures!!
To be fair, I am not 'having a go' at those who attended and I give those them 10/10 for their efforts but to 'knock' someone for being
realistic is a tad harsh, harold pinta

This meeting had nothing to do with the formation of a rival club, it was all about pro-blue rather than anti-red ideas

As long as its constructive and the ideas are in the rite way unlike the smoke bomb tossing and protests outside the club front doors like the last kcb thing then im all for it along with many others if its set out rite you will get peoples backing no doubt. I fear its going to be on deaf ears as current & past board members have no real say so what hope will this bring if there was 40 or 400 at meetings weekly the club will still not listen eitherway if im being honest as they was putting out surveys one week and saying we will convey with supporters about changes or a compromise yet the next thing we get its all been done and there will be no changes without any of the things i mention above being addressed so what was the point in them.

tan will be happy he was thinking there was %25 of the support against him. good luck to you lads tradition and history are a part of life to British people.

Pm when the next one is. I will be there
Didn't know about it - working a lot lately, so on on here intermittent.
Well done Lads
No 41

Very easy to mock on here. But in fairness at least they are doing something instead of rolling over and excepting it. And not just reluctantly accepting it Actively supporting it by picking up a red scarf and proudly wearing it is much more shamefull than being at the meeting last night.,
Thu Mar 07, 2013 8:26 am
Personally I say well done to the group, they are harming no one, but in their way fighting to get our identity back, they might be small now, but who knows.
Sad that some will mock this group of supporters for their beliefs and trying to do something about it, without disrupting our team on the pitch.
Thu Mar 07, 2013 8:37 am
Encouraging signs coming out of last nights meeting re the blue...main thing it was constructive. Now we got a platform to build upon and grow.

I couldn't agree more Annis, The events of last week with rumours that Tan wanted to change the clubs name has at last woken people up that we should have protected the club identity & heritage.
It was nice to see on Tuesday that many brought their blue scarf or were wearing somthing with the correct crest on it and ditched that horrible cheap scarf that the club had cynically tried to impose on us.

Good luck to you. Believe it or not, South Wales was an area once famous around the world for standing up for what it believed in. Younger readers may find this incredible now. Selfish individuality rules okay.

That (formation of 'new' club) was what many thought it was about and by the very nature of the comment 'pro-blue' means it was 'anti-red'
Not 'knocking any of it. Just pointing out that any protests need to be realistic and not many are truly on board (or will be when push comes to shove)
Thu Mar 07, 2013 9:17 am
40???
Oh dear! If 40 do the march protest they'll be laughed out the city

I think what youve started is good and will support you ....how ever making statements like cynical and forced does not do the cause any favours ...it would of only been cynical if there was no advanced warning that he intended to give free red scarfs ...it was not forced but offered no one had to take one ....if you want to gain support imo every statement needs to be fact and true ...slagging tan or reds with untrue emotive statements /comments will not gain us support....try to give as much notice of the next meeting so hopefully more will attend .I will do my best to be at the next meeting ....and continue to support/help in any way ...however if anti tan/reds abuse or slagging off starts up I will be off

keep the badge and blue colours of old is all I want

What statement? I haven't seen any statement.
The only thing I've seen with cynical and forced is a post above. How is that an official statement from the group?
