Pretty poor effort considering the importance of what you're trying to achieve, never mind you're sure to have a full house if you go up when Man use come to town, the problem you'll have is extending the away end :)

Crowd was about what I'd expect, I hate night games, and very rarely go to watch them, too much hassle travel-wise. I saw Ton and Gelli Amateurs beat Trelewis 2-0, very enjoyable hard fought game. Had a bag of chips while walking home, nice they were too.

Personally I think its awful as we are top of the league and runaway leaders, it should of been sold out weeks ago.
It was a lot less than that as over 2,500 season ticket holders were missing tonight.

Just asking

Is it the cost?
Was it because Man Utd were on tv(our club had it on, on the concourses while we were playing   ),
Is it the rebrand?
Was it the weather?

Hmm

I'd guess a combination of the things you've mentioned. I went down for the last night game, it took me an hour and half to get there cos of the traffic, and the same to get home, double the time of the normal journey. £12 in petrol, plus I also got a £35 parking ticket, so I couldn't be bothered tonight, will be there next Tues.

Gareth, 100% not on about fans like yourself, uve paid for your seats like I do and sometimes we cant make it. I am on about why not officially sold out in the home ends, its a mystery ?

I honestly think it is a combination of the things, not just one of them.

Night games are always going to get lower attendances. Suprised at how low it is but you got to take in consideration how long it takes fans from the valleys to get down, with it being shown online and the united game on it doesnt suprise me some fans might skip out on it. Plus the price structuring is causing problems I think specially if people are unsure if they have the night off or work the next day.

Pathetic turnout for a team top of the league. It just goes to show that Man Utd are more important to some of our "so called"fans. What i hate is the loud cheering in pubs in Canton whenever they score. There are just so many people in South Wales who do not want us to be successful and these people are just plastic glory armchair viewers they have no idea what a true football supporter really is !

IF you go up, every single game will also have a quality stream available and freely available in any pub that pays for a decent satellite dish, like ours now.

To be fair though that is perfectly normal and the same for every club. The higher up in the pyramid a club goes, the better the attendances will be.

It's the nature of the beast.

Piss poor. Top of the league at the business end of the season, we should be getting near if not capacity crowds.

If we continue to serve up abysmal performances like that the crowds will fall even more. If you didn't know better you would swear that was a relegation battle

Indeed but it is the reality unfortunately.

Not something I will ever understand because as far as I'm concerned you support your club through thick and thin.

Me and my son could not make it tonight so passed my tickets to a fella in work to take his lad. What about the club running some kind of ticket exchange where fans who can't go can put there seats up for sale for that game.a set price paid to the club by the buyer, the club take an admin/handling fee, then pay a percentage back to the STholder

Why would they do that when there are thousands of tickets unsold? :?

The only sellouts here is the fans I was well up for the game tonight couldnt wait for the game all day .

I go and because we dont put on the usual show people start moaning calling players shit and all sorts .

To be fair it spoilt my knight unless we are winning and scoring the fans aint happy what happend to supporting the team when we are a goal down .

It all seems wrong down the city its full of glory hunting supporters desperate for one thing and unless they get it the aint happy.

OK we weren't at are best we got a point we never lost still top of the league by 5 points and a game in hand what the f**k do people want.

tonights attendance was full of shit.

I wonder what the attendance would have been had we beat Middlesbrough by a couple of goals Saturday?! The united game clearly was more important to many of our 'part time' fans tonight
