Re: Gwyn...

exactly how would he feel if someone was to do that to him, complete and utter idiot.

Re: Gwyn...

Think thats a tad harsh. I was involved in that thread and didnt see any bullying.

Re: Gwyn...

Tue Mar 05, 2013 2:34 pm

TB7, you're probably young and idealistic.
That often stops people from seeing the bigger picture.
There's a lot of concern that irrespective of the steps that Mr Tan has taken demos/protests/negativity are going to undermine the promotion push that will guarantee Cardiff City FC's existence as a football club at top level for the foreseeable.
Gwyn expresses his views clearly but I wouldn't call it bullying.

The one thing the internet gives is a sort of anonymity with the ability to broadcast a point of view.
If however you are going to get up and organise campaigns/street protests/public meetings etc then you have to accept you will lose that anonymity and there will be a kind of rough and tumble just like politics.
Annis/Carl/Gwyn/Vince etc all have a point of view and all have to stand there and argue the point as they are beyond the internet anonymity stage.

Re: Gwyn...

Tue Mar 05, 2013 2:43 pm

I agree with your point but in the manor he about exposing this lad was something a 13 year old would do not a fully grown man.

Could make a soap with all the drama on here these days. Match day and you got so called lovers of Cardiff City bickering on here like bloody old women. I've already had a few pints, already in my Cardiff City shirt and trousers tucked up to my neck and ready to support the boys. Proper fan I am. Oozing passion.

So when the marchers turned up for this protest, did he intend doing it from behind a screen, for f**k sake keep it real.
I have put myself up for more stick than most and accept that's the price I pay for standing up and fighting for something I believe that strongly in.

If this march leads to VT walking away and the club suffering because of it, surely the organiser will want people to know who it was that succeeded in bringing it about, how do you intend doing something of this magnitude and keeping anonymous.

Is it a case of you supposed to just take it but not give it back, seems like a great one sided argument that, you must have been taking lessons off my wife.

Well you can argue about that but like I said if you take a step forward then you have to be prepared for the rough and tumble that goes with it.
So many people forget that their actions (good or bad) bring consequences and don't think things through before they act.

It's a photo put on a public web site, not copyrighted, not private, not secured, there for public perusal, no one has made fun other than pointed out he made a crap sand castle and then a humorous comment about planning permission, and pointing out hopefully he has applied for permission for the march, which it very much looks like he didn't, so it may either help it to make it successful, or walk away if he actually realises the amount of work and responsibility involved.

It's easy enough to put adverts up on social net work sites, but following them up, organsing them to fruition and being responsible is another thing all together, and from your track record you should be well aware of that. :old:

That doesn't give you the right and never will to put up a photo of someone on here to try and get him ridiculed. That was your intentions Gwyn. We weren't born yesterday fella and although some of us may be a lot younger than you we're also not bloody stupid mate.

I have put myself up for more stick than most and accept that's the price I pay for standing up and fighting for something I believe that strongly in.

That's your own decision. You put yourself up for ridicule. I have done the same with my actions and don't really care anymore but for you to create a thread with the sole purpose of ridiculing someone just because you don't like what they are doing is pathetic, juvenile and embarrassing. Someone of your age most definitely should know better.

If this march leads to VT walking away and the club suffering because of it, surely the organiser will want people to know who it was that succeeded in bringing it about, how do you intend doing something of this magnitude and keeping anonymous.

The organiser can make themselves public without you creating threads about them. They can do it in their own time when they are ready. You're not the speaker of all Cardiff fans, never were and never will be. Why? Because you are 1 person in a fan base of over 20,000. That person has a voice and a mind of their own and you should respect that.

If Tan walks away from the club that will be Tan's decision and no one else's. You think a proven international businessman is going to walk away because a minority of fans got rowdy? Please Gwyn, you're passing yourself off as a right clown here. The guy has already even said that he has planned and expected that around 20-25% will be unhappy so he couldn't give a crap himself in all honesty especially considering the actual minority disillusioned with the rebranding is actually lower than that figure he gave.

Is it a case of you supposed to just take it but not give it back, seems like a great one sided argument that, you must have been taking lessons off my wife.

You gave it initially creating a thread about someone Gwyn. Don't pretend that isn't the case. We're not the idiots you think we all are and I don't care if you do/did martial arts or whatever, threaten me or the like because i'll just laugh at you.

You start a thread crying about Gwyn bullying then go and throw foul abuse at others.

Get on with your homework and look up the word "Irony".

if the organiser wanted to put up his picture then surely it was up to him not you.
like he said he was not keepping anonymous his profile was on face book for all to see,
you put youself in the position of taking stick by always courting publicity.
an as for taking it an not give back, people have right to voice there disapproval
of the rebrand by marching, just like you had the right to accept the scarf on the brighton match
an i have not taken lessons of your wife,i got one in my house that i am trying to get rid :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
