Wrong. They are essentially 3 and 4 games of points behind as we have a game in hand.

No they aren't. You don't get any points for a game in hand. They are 5 and 8 points behind respectively, or 2 and 3 games worth of points. Those are facts
Regarding the game in hand, there are 3 possible outcomes (win/lose/draw) only one of those outcomes will change what is stated regarding 2 games behind for hull and 3 for Watford. The only outcome to change them to 3 for hull and 4 for Watford is a Cradiff win.

If Hull win all their remaining games we would have to drop points in at least 3 games, not 2, for them to overtake us.essentially we have a 3 game cushion over them.

I hull win all their games they would over take us if we won them all but lost 2.

Wrong
There are 3 points up for grabs in ever y match. Hull are 5 behind us.
They are 2 matches behind us in terms of points, these are facts.

Stop swerving and qualify your statement:
If Hull win all their games they would overtake us if we won them all but lost 2.
Please show me the mathmatics of that statenent.

I said Hull are two games worth of points behind us, which is a fact.
You however think that a game in hand constitutes 3 points, which of course it doesn't.
So you are wrong.

So you admit you were wrong. We got there eventually.

Hull 5 points behind.
That's 2 games worth of points behind. It really is reflecting badly on you that you cannot grasp that.

Played 1 game more.
Heres the table:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table
Hull - 62 points. Win remaining 13 games (39 points) gives a total of 101.
Cardiff - 67 points. Need 34 points to beat a total of 101. Thats 12 wins, or 11 wins and a draw out of remaining 14 games.
Therefore we have to lose at least 3 games to not be able to reach Hulls current potential maximum,.
Spin it whichever way you like its a 3 game cushion we have over them not 2.

As we stand it a 3 game cushion, not 2.
And more importantly 4 game cushion on Watford not 3 as finishing 2nd still gets promotion.

As long as we dont fail to win in THREE games more than Hull we cant be caught by them.
If we lost all our games and hull all bar two neither would be promoted so pointless debating that silly poinr.

But that's irrelevant. If they win their next 2 games and we lose our next 2 they are above us. That's TWO games to. Tach us which is what this thread is about.

Oh we are talking "ifs" now well "if" that happened, and "if" we win our game in hand we go back above them.
