Much better chance of winning a season tkt!!!

As part of the iniative to wear blue for the rest of the season, we will be looking for fans in the crowd who are wearing Blue and by that we don't mean a free red scarf but 100% passionate 'we love the Bluebirds' BLUE. Our spotters will be getting your details at each game and we will then enter you into a draw for various prizes which include a FREE season ticket for next season. The chances of winning of course are far better than if you choose to wear your free red scarf. Details to follow.................this is not a pipedream, it is going to happen.

Blue will not die........in fact whatever colour the team play in we will support them but the Blue fans initiative is starting in earnest. WATCH THIS SPACE!!

We cannot just give up and accept this shite. We need ideas like this to get change. We might be in the minority but us fans that care about the identity of the club must not just give up, we will be here long after tan has lost interest and gone onto his next thing.

I'll need a team of helpers.....not 'talkers' but walkers. Not causing trouble but just filled with pride and coming up with ideas like how to raise money, publicising it through the press and giving money to local charities. I'm like a dog with a bone here.........I will still support my club 100% whatever colour they play in but I want to see more Blue in the crowd, I'm still sick to the stomach about last night.

I do bugger about I know (eg Leo Fortune West) but I am 100% serious here. I will not be brainwashed into wearing a red scarf and I realise it's peoples personal choice but its all a bit one sided at the moment and the tide has to turn. I climbed Ben Nevis a few years ago for cystic fibrosis and that task looked daunting and this one is but I'm up for it and I look forward to your support.No fighting, no squabbling........just passion about our fantastic unique football club and its wonderful hardcore of supporters who will NEVER EVER WEAR RED
Oh and it's not trying something, it's getting behind something that is going on in a very large percentage of supporters minds............join me, strap yourselves in.........it could be a bumpy ride....but we will achieve what we set out to achieve and the club will never match it....never.

Thats the spirit!!!!! We'll get a meeting together at some stage soon and get ideas on the table........I don't want any trouble makers like all that KCB fighting nonsence, this has to be organised in a peaceful manner.

team and majority of fans might now be red, but they cant stop fans wearing blue! some people will say they hate the idea of an ultra group, but if say the whole canton wore blue and sung songs it would kind of be like that!
would 1) make us less of a laughing stock to other fans thinking we rolled over and took it up the arse, 2) to make a point we aren't rolling over without a fight, and 3) improve atmosphere if everyone stood in one place/stand (canton centre)

It would be a much better chance odds wise due to the fact there may be more red than blue. And of course you don't have to abandon your dignity and wear a red scarf.

Harold .......I'm speaking with some influencial people tomorrow and so I'll PM you and many others re next steps. You sound like someone who could have some input here. I'm already thinking of a Vision statement, a Mission Statement and Values for our 'Peaceful' group.

Live the idea but I foresee a problem !
Season tickets are as good as gone allready how will you get them ?
We have one home game before April and by then it will be warmer and not scarf weather ? Shirts will be out in force by then mind
Loved the idea of everybody dressing as blue smurfs last home game as a nod to blue 1poster had lol

Maths clearly is not your strong point.

If 20,000 people wear red then you have a a 1 in 20,000 chance of winning a season ticket. You can only win 1 in the competition so its on a game to game basis anyway. You can't win multiple tickets.

If 4,000 fans are wearing blue then they have a 1 in 4,000 chance of winning a season ticket.

So for one game you have roughly a 5 times better chance of winning a season ticket if this blue idea only happens for one game only. Now for the other games then obviously they will probably go back to red to try and win a season ticket if they haven't already done so. This is very obvious.

Now, this idea clearly needs to be planned so that it takes place at a time when a home game is on Sky or our promotion clinching game. I suggest the Watford game for a couple of reasons.

1) Some of the reluctant reds may not go if the game is on TV thus the percentage of blue wearing fans is higher
2) More blue on TV sends out a message
3) There is an avenue for getting media sources in the know and get coverage of it on national TV

I don't see why it would have to be a just a Blue scarf, could be a blue City shirt, hat etc
