This is a great post say's it all.i felt so sad seeing all those zombies with their red scarves draped around them like a f*cking emblem of defiance well said taffyapple.

Nice to see our small blue minority all coming together on one post. This is the end of Cardiff City FC and the bluebirds era. It haunts my mind everyday.

When we were playing in the lower leagues what were our crowds? I can certainly remember games with less than 2,000 people back in the day. OK let's say we had 4,000 hardcore home fans. Now we have crowds of between 22,000 and 25,000, so there are 21,000 fans that don't care about the club, it's history and tradition in the same way as we, the old-school hardcore, do.
Some of these will be newby fans coming because of the new ground (NP did have a bad reputation), and relatively successful past 5 years, and some will be too young to be hung up on tradition. Yes the club has changed, and I believe changed forever, but so has football generally. Blame SKY, blame foreign owners, blame whoever you want, the game has changed, especially at the higher levels where money counts most. It's sad but true.
I'm facing up to hitting my 50th birthday in a few weeks time. I don't like it, cos so many things have changed since I was in my teens and 20's, but that is life, and I'm just a moaning old codger who will always refuse to wear red at the city.

yes of course I can see it and it is weird and everyone can see its weird but whats best for the club is not always whats best for the fans simply as that, if that's how our great club can survive in the modern era then so be it, ill support this great club through the bad and through the good, US FANS NEED TO STICK TOGETHER!
