Youre probably right Heroin is the worst because of the physical effects but dont under estimate the mental effects of a gambling addiction.
Driving past a bookies, begging yourself not to go in, cant stop yourself, go in and star blowing money but cannot walk away ubtil youve blown a grand then going home and lieing to your family and trying to act normal. Trust me thats soul destroying.

In no way am I playing down the effect a gambling addiction has on someone polo, its fukin terrible, especially now its so easy to get on line and gamble yor life away. Something needs to be done to control it better, just I've had more experience with people hooked on the brown, good mates who are still good mates, but a shadow of what they were when I first new them, obviously you have had more experience from both sides, I remember you saying about yor gambling addiction, but from how you come accross now, I'm assuming you've got to terms with it, and got yorself sorted mate. from my personal experience though heroin addiction is unforgiving, and I've never known anyone on the gear, to get off it and stay off it, obviously it does happen, but from my personal experience, I've never met anyone to knock it on the head and get there life back together

The person who gave him the hiding moved away from merthyr got clean and now has his own business so it can be done but yeah far more people cant get back up the slippery slope.
I am still battling mine, I still bet almost every day on the football but my addiction was the FOBTs which I last loss a big lump on December 20th. 4 weeks tomorrow. I had one tiny lapse last week chucked a 20 in, won a fiver, cashed out as was pissed off woth myself.
I still got thousands of pounds of debt from them on my credit cards but Ive finally resigned myself to not ever winning that back so will pay it off 50 a month. Providing dont add to the debt should take about 15 years to pay back.
Seriously though, I nearly lost my job before xmas, I went on lunch for my hour and 3 hours later was still playingomachines. They were ringing me to find out where I was. Didnt answer. They sent someone out to find me. I made this eleborate lie up that id been falsley accused of shoplifting and I had been banged up. Not good.
So if any kids are reading this, cis I see them all blowing their wages on them, its frightening, pack them in noq before its too laye!!!!

i have to be honest, its hard to so any sympathy for you, you admit to being addicted, yet do nothing about trying to fix it, and you seem so blase about it, not really consistant with someone in your condition surely?
