Cardiff understood to be lining up move for Sunderland's Fraizer Campbell

Sky Sports understands Cardiff are lining up a move for Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell.
Campbell has found first-team opportunities limited at the Stadium of Light under manager Martin O'Neill this season.
The forward, who has scored one goal in 15 appearances, is out of contract at the end of the campaign and has been linked with a January move.
The 25-year-old had been tipped for a return to Hull, where he previously spent time on loan from boyhood club Manchester United, but it appears fellow Championship high-fliers Cardiff have joined the race for his signature.
Campbell joined Sunderland in 2009 after departing Old Trafford, where he came through the youth ranks.

I really like FC always have, but I can see why some might think he's not exciting.
He was Hull's top scorer in the Prem the year they went up

It's been building up for months and now Sky are privy to it. It's remarkably similar to the Nicky Maynard build up through the summer. I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't close now

I can't see us fighting off Hull for Campbell. Especially as he is already up that way and has history with them.

I agree with James, I actually would prefer Sordell. Malky's worked with him and knows his strengths and weaknesses, he's a pacey striker with a good shot on him, tall and can hold the ball up well. Campbell is similar to Maynard, if we were to be promoted look at the similiarities. Not to mention we have Mason as well. I think a lot will be disappointed if we do sign him, we were expecting a target man but we're being linked with a 'poacher' whose got one Premier League goal this season?

Well, it's about time we had a mention on the Sky Sports transfer centre even though it's Frazier Campbell

Wolves are ready to offload Leigh Griffiths to hibs after his recent race row.
And are looking to replace him with ... Simeon Jackson from Norwich in a £1m deal.
I think I would prefer him than Campbell.
That being Said, it looks likely that Frazier will be a bluebird before the weekend, And he does know how to find the net in this division.
Hopefully he can shake off the injuries and misfortunes that have plagued him recently and help us in our promotion push.

Extended his loan at Hibs
