i know this is a football site but always ok to have debates etc..

whats your opinion ? (do you think she's alive etc..)

i personally think that one day she will be found in portugal or any of the countries that are near

Never going to be found, She's long gone. Don't mean to sound disrespectful, its just my opinion but I guess as long as there's no definite answer there will always be hope.

With April Jone, what on earth is the guys defence? Denies murder, but will suggest that he is, "Probably responsible for her death" what does that mean?

One theory is that prior to her going missing April and bridgers kids were arguing. Bridger picked up April in his car and left her in the middle of nowhere as a punishment then she's never seen again.

she's either been lost to the illegal child trade or not alive.
I doubt her parents have anything to do with it as some people have said before now

Indeed. While there is no body he cannot be done for murder.

Portuguese police apparently wanted to go ahead with charging them but British Liberal Rights Protection Police intervened.

What gets me is, if the Portuguese believed they had enough evidence to push ahead with charging them and it occurred on Portuguese soil then what right do Britain have to get involved?

Apparently, British intervention is the reason that the Portuguese now refuse to reopen the case on appeal.

Something seems very dodgy imo.

Do you think if they were 2 unemployed benefit claimers, rather than 2 GPs, there would be a lot more anger towards the parents?

Actually Chuckles, yes I do agree with you there. I think their status in terms of employment was the catalyst for their protection.

Yes.

How could any normal parents leave your kids alone on holiday to sleep while they go get pissed.

I think you are 100% right, however, I don't think they meant to kill her. So I'm going with manslaughter.

This is why I don't feel as sorry as I perhaps should do for them.

It was their fault and if they weren't middle class they would have been crucified.

Totally agree.

I'm not sure if they murdered her, wouldn't surprise me.

But they are 100% to blame.

I don't believe they murdered her, they would have surely slipped up by now if they had but yes 100% their fault.

I'm still going with manslaughter.

Re: way off topic... madeleine mccann

I thought it was a bit strange when they said on the news that hes denied it, but possibly he could have caused her death, bit like that huntley tw*t, he said he didn't mean to kill them little girls didn't he.

I was going to say about the mccans and how come they haven't had any charges on neglect, they've made thousands from selling stories to the news papers i bet.

Sorry but my two girls are not allowed to play on my estate unless me or the mrs is outside with them, i get's paro when my boys outside and he's 11, plus living on tyndall st don't help all the tarts up and down the street all night

like a few people have said, manslaughter and hidden the body, i think if she had been kidknapped some one would of found her by now, they killed her and covered it up to protect themselves

Yes he can, hence why they've charged him with murder. Plenty of people have been found guilty of murder without the body of the murder victim being found. There case against him must be super tight in order for the cps to go ahead with a murder charge without the actual body being found though...I'd say he's banged to rights
