There is no current path into English football for them, or for Celtic, for that matter. Personally, I would not like to see either club play down south. Too much sectarian baggage, both of them. Surely Scottish football realise that they need a strong Rangers in their 'Premier' league?

I can't see it happening in the same way that Wimbledon & Clydebank's owners were told they could not take clubs to Dublin.
Charles Green is becoming a bigger arse as time goes on. Rangers should be grateful they even have a league to play in. They wouldn't be any worse off if the reconstruction goes through. Personally I think the new plan is a shambles but the governing bodies up here don't give a f**k what the fans think.

If the leagues stay the same Rangers would need three promotions to get back to the top flight.

If we let one in we will have to let Celtic in, you have to think both teams will make the top half of the Premiership meaning their introduction will be met with a lot of resistance from the current Premier league sides.
Moving an English club across the border? That certainly won't happen and neither should it.

They're moaning because the new plans for the restructure are diabolical. Scottish League football has been on the decline for a while now, and these plans would more likely completely kill it off rather than help it.
