The flip side is if we stay up for a Second Season, they will drop their prices for us as this is what a Jack friend in work told me on Monday as the second year they expect you to bring less so he said Chelski and the like dropped the prices by about a Tenner compaired to last season. My mate is proper skint at the moment as he is doing all the Cup games and he had to renew his season ticket BEFORE Christmas!! Can renew through Jan, Feb and March but each month he waited would have cost him £10 more!!! Starting to think I am gonna be priced out of The Prem!!!

Due to work shifts and family commitments, i have been to 5 away games this season! Money isn't so much the probs for me.. but more about the duration of travel! Next season most likely to select brummie and London away games (off course we need to get to the premier league first)...

Sunderland/Newcastle = 318 miles
Norwich = 270 miles
Manchester City/united/wigan – 200 miles
Stoke = 160 miles
Liverpool and Everton = 200 miles
Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Westham, Fulham, Crystal palace, QPR = 160 miles
West Brom, Aston Villa = 120 miles

ive heard that not sure if its true or not but from what I understand is that its just like your season ticket as in one payment for away tickets. If its true its not a bad idea assuming you can afford it.

there is an away season ticket available but all the other tickets you buy you get points for each game , and the higher your points tally the better chance you have of getting a ticket

example - norwich , sunderland away 5pts
man u , chelsea away 1pt

trouble is people are dull enough to pay it so they wont drop prices. ive got a season ticket with my son but away games are way down my list of prioritires. petrol,parking,food people must think we are made of money. i wont pay parking or by food or drinks from outlets in stadium, i bring my own.

i notice man city have returned more than half of their ticket allocation for sundays game at arsenal as they think the £62 being charged is to much.
to be honest £30 to £35 is probably fair enough but £62 is daylight robbery

dnt get why people go by car, its just as easy and much cheaper to on a bus.. or even the train to some places. get a family and friends railcard for 28 quid a year and u get quite abit off. 6 of us going on train to blackpool and we paid 132 between us all. and only 20 per room on top

City's increased status within the English game means they have joined Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham as clubs who - due to their attractiveness - routinely get charged the highest prices for tickets.

Bring in safe standing to increase the amount of people through the gates and then drop ticket prices so that the income is around the same price. This will increase attendances and also improve the atmosphere. I wish the health and safety brigade would do one.

I did go and provided evidence of the fact. To bring up such an incident in the way you have is not only offensive but completely disrespectful. Health and Safety is one thing, the police not being able to do their own jobs to protect those they are supposed to is another entirely. That thing being common sense however you wouldn't know much about that would you pal being born in 2 different years. What happened, your mother giving birth had a break on new years eve and then pushed the rest of you out on January the 1st?

Most clubs in Champ and Prem charge crazy prices. Leeds charge more than that (£38 i think) and I paid £27 for brummies away.

We need to look at the continent and see the prices that the Germans and Spanish pay. Most prices are less than 20 quid.

We normally go by car. 7 seater split petrol between us and no waiting around..fag breaks! Leave and stop when we want I guess! But most of the time we rush back because have work nxt day!

These prices are wrong, went to spurs just before xmas £37, qpr first game of the season £35 upper tier £30 lower tier, arsenal was nowhere near £62.

Just away. Our cheapest ticket is £35 for a cat b and 45 for cat a. Expensive times.
