Reluctantly.

Yeah. Only time I'd stop, is if the name CARDIFF CITY was changed or the club moved to another area. I dnt want them to take the bluebird away, I'd rather us play in blue etc, but I don't see that as being the end of our club.

Very reluctantly, as long as the name Cardiff City FC is not changed and our location not changed then I'll be there but like I say very reluctantly.
So please don't take my Cardiff away,
You are my Cardiff.

I would really hate it and don't think I could carry on, I'm finding it really difficult this season, I just personally can't believe all the fans that will just lay down and take all the changes, all that will be left soon is just the name Cardiff city and to me you need more than a club name to have a football club, the blue kit, the bluebird, the bluebirds all gone it would not be the team I have loved all my life, it really makes me upset but as long as you all get your premier league football then you will always be happy

It has nothing to do with premier league football for me, I have supported Cardiff City for 43 years and I will not turn my back on the club that I have been brought up with and love.
I hate the rebrand and everything about it and have not bought 1 thing from the club shop, the first time in 15 seasons on the trot that I haven't bought a jersey so for me it's the name Cardiff City I support whether it be premier league or conference league.

Honestly, the only thing that would stop me from going is getting rid of the name "Cardiff City". I can't force myself to not go, I love football too much.

I would but it'd be really hard to argue with opposition fans when saying we're the Bluebirds, we wouldn't know what to call ourselves and for the younger generation of fans they'd know us as something else. Of course we'd still chant Bluebirds but I'd really be annoyed if it did go.

It looks like we will loose the Bluebird and our nick name next season, our new name will be the Red Dragons, this will be a great shame to our history and tradition :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

It's the same for me the first season I havnt bought a home shirt and not got a new calendar I don't want anything to do with red or the dragons both of those things have nothing to do with Cardiff city so I don't want them

It depends on what it's replaced with. If it's just removing the bluebird but kepeing the dragon as the centre point I would reluctantly support (my support lies in my subscription to City Player) but if that Carp thing happened then I can honestly say i would cut all ties with the club.

I will leave, walk away.

I'm struggling with the way it has gone now and if I'm honest I hate seeing the red shirt on someone. Even more so I detest these guys supporting the rebrand. As far as I am concerned they have sold out.

I understand this message board is not a representation of all Cardiff fans but 27% no and 17% not sure is a worry in my opinion.

A question for those that would walk. What will you do for your football fix?

Most likely go and support a local team, either derby or Burton.

You would be supprised how many of the fans that clicked yes or maybe in this poll was the same fans saying "If they take the bluebird im gone" six months ago but now say " As long as we got are cardiff city by name then im here" better players on the pitch will cover anything up that goes on with the club for these fans now

Cardiff City, in Cardiff....there's nothing to even think about.

I won't like it but i will still go, but if they change the name of the club from Cardiff City to another that is where my 45yrs of watching Cardiff City will come to an end. At that point there is no point

Re: Would you still attend games if there is no bluebird? Po

Tue Jan 08, 2013 8:55 am

Yes, as posted would only stop if they took the cardiff city name away, but I am a firm believer that these owners will not be here in a couple of years time when they cash it all in and the new owners would revert back :ayatollah:

I don't pay much attention to club badges couldn't tell you what was on most of the others. I want it to stay, just a silly reason not to watch the best times to be a cardiff city fan just becasue of the badge

Similar poll was done when we weren't sure if the rebrand wasn't going to go ahead. A lot of people said they were going to walk away but DIDN'T, I was probably one of them.

No other fan base would have rolled over the way we did ashamedly. I'll still go down out of habit, hate the red, hate the Malaysians but what the f**k am I meant to do. I am no where near as passionate as I was last season and the season before, the rebrand has sucked the life out of me.

People will still go down, the Malaysian know what we can get away with as they have the majority of Cardiff fans sussed, SPINELESS BASTARDS.
