Why are people shocked about the Millennium Stadium news.

Tan will do whatever he can to get more money and people forget that increasing the CCS has an up front cost on the expansion i.e. the investment.

The guy is ruthless so I don't get why everyone is shocked. A half full Millennium Stadium will make more money than a full Cardiff City Stadium. It will also give Tan an excuse to increase ticket prices and he will fit in more away fans.

When will people wake up and realise the man only cares about money?

Surely Tan wouldn't want us moving out when we have the UEFA Super Cup being played on our patch next year? A 35,000 seater CCS holding a European Final (Not a big one, but a final nonetheless) is an occaision where the club, and Tan, can earn some money

I've had accounts on this forum for years. My first account opened in 09 and since then I've learned if you are the first to say something you are the first to get shot down.

As for having a go at VT? I think people best remember EXACTLY where we were heading BEFORE he came in (apparently somewhat hoodwinked by Peter Ridsdale) and look at where we are now

Because when it comes to serious issues I get banned for telling the truth of being brutally honest. Granted I have gone on wind ups to kill time but i've also told the truth. I've had conversations on certain topics with Annis also on a previous account of mine. Annis has also unbanned me on previous accounts so now I can re-access them. I could easily post them conversations via PM but out of respect to people I am not going to do so. I may be a knob at times but im not that much of a knob

Can't be done too many rugby games internationals etc. Never mind that it'd be utterly pointless to rent a stadium that has 50,000 more seats than we need now for use in what? The Premier League. Unless he's gunna charge us all £5 a pop to go once Cardiff get relegated the attendances drop to this level bare minimum. Then what? it'd cost too much.

if there is a fanbase out there to warrant a move to the millennium stadium then i dont see the problem. maybe after a few seasons in the prem the band wagon jumpers will be falling over to got watch city.

lets have it right there's a lot of big premier league clubs who would give their right arm to play at a stadium like the millennium. cardiff in the prem have the potential to attract a much bigger crowd i think.

the owners are thinking big and trying to make money which will secure the future of our club. there's no money to take out of the club so i wouldn't be too worried about them robbing us.

How exactlly will it make more money? We would have the exact same amount of fans same amount of income. The only difference is it would cost us more as we would be paying rent. Why the f**k would he spend all that money on the stadium to simply move. Stop trying to give your ego a massage and actually think for once

Simple answer. You can fit more plastics in the Millennium Stadium. Thousands will turn out for games vs United and Liverpool etc.

I dont believe it is true at the moment but nobody can say its not a possibility in the future can they ?
Nobody believed the rebrand rumour at first or that it could actually happen .
Nobody really believed we could sign craig bellamy 2 years ago did they ?

Think about it seriously and it would make sense for a premier league team in a capital city to play in a stadium like the millenium .We would easily get 40 k to 50 k if we had a succesfull premier team down here imo and we would quickly outgrow the ccs if new investment like peter lim does materialise .

Moving to the millenium stadium would increase attendances , allow vincent tan to sell the land the ccs stands in or build on it making him money . He could sell the carcass of the stadium to the blues for there new stadium at the arms park plus the seats and interiors can easily be dismantled and moved. The blues have planning permission for a new ground so would be cheaper to use the materials of the ccs to do this .

It doesnt sound like a huge fib i could easily see them having talks about it , but it wont happen any time soon maybe if we get to the prem and stay there for 2/3 years it would be more feasible .

I hope it does happen i hate the ccs and that would mean we are in the prem and becoming succesfull in the top tear of football !
