Off to the Millenium stadium should we get promoted next season and beyond

I work here and just spoke to the man who talked to him, I told him to stop messing around but he showed me a folder of figures that tan wants to see

If this is the next step then the club we once knew has gone

Knew of this about three weeks ago. Don't post anything on here mate. People did with the rebrand and got abused, arguments and friendships on tenterhooks then it happened. Same with Bellamy signing, got tonnes of abuse for announcing that a month early. Better to just let it wait until it happens these days. People cry for gossip yet when it happens those who give it are the ones getting abuse. You can't win. Unfortunately there is truth.

Tan just paid off the blues, redone the decor, bought pitch lights all to move out.......

This shits getting beyond

The Millennium Stadium is already red and has red outside also.

Say what you want but they originally wanted us in there in the first place but Hammam didn't want it. Tan would love it. 30,000 City fans, segregation is easy due to the split and he can get at least 5000 away fans in there each game for money.

How is it not win-win for Tan? He doesn't need to spend money redoing the stadium or increasing capacity and he can make high profits off of attendances. Surely people realise by now that this is all about money.

Wont happen.....bookmark this!

Its quite amusing that all this shite turns up just as we are playing well and look like getting promoted. Hmmmm....

I'd be all for it if there was ever the need. Ninian Park was our home. Once we moved from there, it didn't matter where we moved to, and still doesn't.

Why would you want 30,000 fans in a 70,000 seater stadium aswell as paying a rent every month when you have your own stadium?

Barnett I know you like to talk shite and wind up people but come on this is a far strech

Re: Anyone for the Mill Stad?

Can just imagine Frankie Fryer on Away Days..

70K FANS UNDER WAAAAAAAN ROOOOOOF, AAH DO LARVE PLAYIN AWAY

Re: Anyone for the Mill Stad?

I can quite believe that someone from Cardiff has enquired about the use of this stadium . Any good business man would want to maximise their investment should we get to the Premier. It will all depend on the figures

Re: Anyone for the Mill Stad?

There seems to be a swathe of Cardiff City 'Fans' who just want to cause mischief since the rebrand. I don't mind debating the debacle but others seem to want to let sarcasm and down right lies take the place of actually trying to do something about it or ignoring it.

The stand to take is, not support the club and leave the clubs affiliated forums, but it seems the way they go is not go to games and then goad those that do with lies and antagonistic posts.

I left the other board because of it. The holier than though, clever with their words brigade just sulked their way through the days. At least the arguments on here are open, raw and basic. :D

Worst idea ever. It won't happen.

Im being honest here. I was waiting someone else to bring this crap up, same with the Brayford rumour because in the past I've mentioned the rebrand and the Bellamy loan deal when he was first with us and got tonnes of abuse. For the Bellamy I even had to go off the forum for a day because of the flak I was getting.

Do you think Tan cares? Half empty stadium is easier to police and he can get more away fans into the stadium. Have them at one end and filter them out at one end of town and the rest at the other end of town.

I think its ridiculous myself - at a later stage in 5 years maybe but its too early to happen now and will make us as you said a laughing stock. This is Tan however and he has asked.

^exactly what im about.

Re: Anyone for the Mill Stad?

It makes sense from the point of view of how much is going to cost to change all the seats to red and increase the capacity to 35,000 compared to the costs of playing at the millennium. Some other clubs don't seem to pay much at all to play at their grounds when they are owned by other third parties who just want to bring money to the local area and meet the running costs.

Use the lower two stands for all matches and sell tickets in the upper tiers if there was ever enough demand for one off games.

There are probably also some interesting deals to be done in terms of the land next to the millennium that Tan would probably have an interest in getting in on.

It's still a crap idea whether Tan wants it or not. It's a rugby stadium.

You're telling people not to mention it as they'll just receive abuse, and note your own experiences, yet you continue to harp on about this Millennium Stadium drivel.

I don't understand? :?

As its been said now by someone else. If you say it as the first person you get all the flak. If its already released and people calm down a bit then its ok.
