You think being in the premier league automatically makes you a big club. Your nowhere near. We're still a bigger club than Swansea.

In what way are you bigger, biggest transfer fee paid between both clubs is by swansea who plays in a higher division swansea who has the biggest turn over swansea who has players worth £20 million plus swansea, or you do have a bigger stadium

Re: £58 million

To be fair thats good which means that when the city get there we'll probably be worth treble that to our local economy.

Call me a thicko once you have learnt how to write a sentence properly.

Cardiff City contributes a huge amount to the local economy and unlike little old Swansea Town we pay our way. You don't even pay rent on your council owned stadium.

Go on then, break it down for us. How much of the money got into the local economy?

Most of the economic value was created directly by and for the football club, with only part of the money safeguarding jobs. Therefore jobs that were already there.

A few new jobs were created. Oh and a local councillor got to say that occupancy rates at hotels had been better than Cardiff in a few months. They just can't help the comparisons always needing to try and justify themselves against big brother. 2CS.

Can't you understand £58 million and 400 jobs is what the swans are worth to the local economy, I think having a counciled owned stadium was a master stroke by swansea city council and the club, after all isn't the richest club in the world stadium owned by the council..THICKO..

So you didn't read the local rags piece JUST the headline. Most of the cash didn't go INTO the economy, it went INTO the club. As part of the local economy it gets counted but not much of it gets into the local community.
