We were all moaning about the defending at Charlton but since then outstanding away with 4 wins and 1draw , scored 9 conceded 3 , 13 points from 15 on the road with clean sheets in last 2 away games !

QPR are the perfect example. they were snatching last minute winners AND equalisers
and really pissing me off.

I completely agree.

We know we are capable of playing a great deal better but as we are not I am more than happy to settle for winning!

As for today, I've been at St Andrews and seen us pasted more than a few times over the years so really I don't care how the win came, a win is a win and three points off the bluenoses is a sweet way to start the year.

When we freshen-up the squad we will start to play a little better I'm sure... as long as the wins keep coming.

That season QPR had 49 points after 26 games whilst we have 56pts which shows what a fantastic job MM and the players are doing.

Only 6 wins from a place in the playoffs after 26 games is unbelieveable which is why I believe we are now playing for the Championship.

Lots of points to play for yet but only 2 teams in the last 10 years have had more points at this stage and both those were the eventual champions.

The Bluebirds are going up. Believe it.

We only care about Cardiff City, in the past if we've been chasing, you don't really take much notice of other teams other than form and points behind etc
Whether it's 7-1 or 1-0 it's 3 points, we certainly have a team of battlers who knows the value of 3 points. 4 wins out of 4, all by 1 goal is magnificent, Malky and the team can do no wrong by me at the moment.
9 points clear of third, I really am pinching myself, sides are starting to fear us and we will get better!

But I have maintained from day one that the key to promotion in this division
is a solid defence. We now have 2 well drilled, well organised banks of 4 in
front of the opposition. When we break, we break fast and incisively, but the
Centre-Half in Malky will not let him throw caution to the wind. Teams DO
play a more attractive attacking style than us, but they dont always win. We
invariably do.
