The Ayatollah

Fri Dec 28, 2012 10:15 pm

Why is it the Ayatollah seems to be dead amongst us City fans? The last time I can remember a real mass Ayatollah was the last game at Ninian Park. Are lot of the older fans embarrassed to do it nowadays?

The Ayatollah is a celebration, and now as we're on top and doing really well, surely it's the best time to be doing it?

Completely agree need to get this back and Ali can help.
Remember b4 big games he would call out to all 4 sections of the ground to do it. Looked awesome

The fans don't do it as much but we always nag the players to do it even when they're under pressure which is silly.

Also, my mistake, just seen this one from Wembley. It didn't venture as far back as me, I was right at the back of the bottom tier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx1Kjj9qYfk

He is scouse after all.
I do love Noonys celebrations though, always a new one when he scores. Did like his freddy mercury one, as it looks great in photos, but his celebration with kimbo at Bolton was funny.

I think he did it against burnley. It's his twitter picture done in one of the famous poses of Freddy Mercury. I could have sworn I heard him say it was as well.

Noone seems like a terrific person to have in training. Full of banter and a laugh.

Some people do, I see the odd person doing it, whether it be with my own eyes or on a replay. I'm going to start doing it and I'll be telling my mates who go with me. Hopefully it spreads :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
