Steve Gerrard being linked with a move to these inbred clowns.

Think that would be a mistake.

He did well at Rangers but failed at Villa and don't think he was in Saudi long.

Great appointment

Gerrard will be great for the Disney series; they need the crisis of sacking Parkinson and the hunt for the new manager is the next series storyline. He is a name; whether he is a good football manager is up for debate. Wasn't the tactical stuff done by the bloke who crashed at QPR?

At some point PSR is going to catch up with them at some point. They went big on experienced players with little sell-on value, and Stevie G would need a different type of player.

They wont "sack" Parkinson- as far as Disney is concerned that's like shooting Bambi's mother. He will gracefully retire in the interests of the club and a be given a new honourary role at the club- ambassador or something like that - which at some later date he may temporarily relinquish when he gets a job at Forest Green Rovers or somewhere like that. .

Michael Beale claims he’s the tactical genius

Like shooting Bambis Mother, probably the best analogy I’ve ever read on here

That scene traumatised my kids and sacking Parkinson would have the same effect on the US fans :laughing6:

I don't think they'll get stung by PSR. Their sponsorship income is enormous they just spend that on transfers by the looks of it. Yes Gerrard does make sense due to name value, not who I'd want if I was them but having said that Lampard was given chance after chance and it worked for Coventry last year
