Bournemouth, Brighton & Sunderland

In a football time full of the super clubs exercising their power over everyone else by signing the best players from smaller teams, isn't it great to see these three clubs operating in a different way to other clubs and having success?

Bournemouth and Sunderland are in the Europa League. Both have two wins out of two.

Brighton are in the Conference League - won their first game tonight.

I think it's brilliant to see those three clubs excelling in Europe, and brilliant to see three different clubs from the Premier League in European competition than usual.

Shows what is possible if you get things right at boardroom level. Personally I think Brighton are the best run club in the UK.

Yes absolutely right and it's such a shame when you realise that all three clubs have been at the same level or even lower than us in the recent past and now the difference between us and them is immense.

Sunderland have always been a huge club but there should be no reason why a club like Cardiff if properly run couldn't emulate the likes of Brighton and Bournemouth and I'd add Crystal Palace to that list who are also in Europe this season.

Last time we were in the PL we won 2-0 away at Brighton and it looked like we'd stay up and they'd be relegated. The trajectory of both clubs since that game have been complete opposites and whilst we remain being run by the same bunch of idiots nothing is going to change.

What this shows is that what is required is a good coach and supportive owners! All 3 clubs had excellent coaches that got them promoted in case of Sunderland and Bournemouth they did it with youngsters Bournemouth under howe kept team together from the start so mostly lower league players getting into Premier league and club as continued this and Sunderlands present coach did over 2 seasons with youngsters! ... put supportive owners into equation and its perfect recipe for success this applies to all clubs not just city...... so we've got the coach all thats required is a new owner tan as run his race and can no longer invest the money required to take us forward...

Not only are Brighton possibly the best run club, they are currently as good a football side as there is in the country based on their demolition of Arsenal and other games in which the quality of their football has been outstanding.
