Sure Bradford done it to us last season and we lost could be wrong or

We tend to choose to shoot towards our away fans in the first half instead of the second half, definitely did last season.

So a bit surprised more teams don't come to CCS and do it. Although obviously it didn't work too well for Watford.

Only happened once in the league last season I believe - and we lost!

Every team has a favourite half to start and end in, and as a result the home side is given their choice as the away side get theirs in the return match.

When it isn't given, there is always a reason - usually some idiot in charge of the away side decides its a 'good tactic' to disrupt the home side.

Basically its a tw*t's move, whoever does it at whatever club.

Its surprising that this convention is not broken more often. The sun, wind or rain can have a big impact on a game. The choice to play with the sun behind you in the first half when it goes behind the stand in the second half can have an effect, particularly on the goal keeper and defenders. Same as making the opposition play into the rain if its forecast to cease in the second half

I remember bradford, PNE and I think it was Stoke who did it to us in previous years and we seemed to crumble from it, usually second half attacking the canton is what gives the players that extra %.

not a fan of attacking the canton first half, should be the second half
