A lot of people, including myself, were worried when we didn’t re-sign Kellyman. However I’ve not seen many people mentioning him since we’ve signed Moylan, who has been brilliant. Obviously Kellyman only played in League One and so we’ll never know if he could’ve pushed on at Championship level. Moylan has proved he can step up to the Championship, albeit only less than 10 games into the new season.
Keen to hear what the fan base think.

I think id love them both in the squad lol and hope we approach Strasbourg in January about loaning kellyman for the rest of the season but I believe moylan is the better all round player at the moment

Moylan has made a brilliant start but let's remember Kellyman played a huge part in our promotion. He was our second highest scorer.
If he carries on like this, I'd probably say Moylan but they are different types of player - do their attacking in different ways.

I think Kellyman will end up a striker, not sure he has the work rate to be top level, but that may improve over time, whereas Moylan plays the game at full throttle and that will get him to the Premier League next season.
I am glad Moylan has been so good, as it stops BBM flirting with the idea that Rubin is a 10, he is not!

I really liked Kellyman. Would have been a dream if we could have signed him again to play with moylan.
I would choose moylan great signing by Murphy he’s true to his word when he’s says he only sign people who improve the squad and that is something he excels at

Anybody know how Kellyman is getting on this season?
Is he playing much, doing well etc?

He has played exactly 0 league minutes for Strasbourg this season , such a waste and hopefully we can get him on loan in january

Moylan is better and what we needed, as others have said; Kellyman as well would have been brilliant; we needed him Saturday with Salech out.

Moylan is a better player. However Kellyman versatility being able to play across the front 4 positions was vital for us when Salech was injured. Can Moylan play as a false 9 or a striker? Im not sure he can which meant Robinson started on the weekend.
So for me, Moylan is a better player but for strength in depth Kellyman has been missed.

Moylan without a doubt first

Ok so Moylan can definitely play upfront. Moylan over Kellyman every time

Feel bad for him that his career so far - aside from his loan with us - has been that of a financial tool.
I imagine there was quite a bit of pressure on him at Villa to make the Chelsea move and then once he’s within that system he’ll have had no choice over going to Strasbourg
