If we don't win this one then we're really in trouble!

No reason to believe we won't. We've performed well at home and one of only six teams unbeaten at home in the league.

I think we will win but with Boro away to come on Saturday three points is vital.

No point playing well, lots of possession, plenty of shots on goal etc if we're going to draw or lose.

I'd rather us play like shit and win with a lucky deflection off someone's arse!

Fair enough, all about opinions but I'd rather play well and not win than play bad and win.

Because performances are the clearest indicator that you're on the right track. All of our home performances have been great, unlucky to not win more.

That's the main reason I think some are losing their minds over nothing.

But people on here have always been fickle.

Fair enough but it's a strange thing to say that you'd prefer to play well and not win. I know you don't want us to lose and I understand your meaning but it's a result driven game not performance driven.

We could be the best team to watch in the world but if we only draw every game at best we'll be relegated.

Would you accept relegation provided we played well every game?

Yeah I probably would but I don't see us being anywhere near relegation. I've also said that I would keep BBM even if we got relegated.

People can focus too much on results at this stage of the season and become obsessed by whether we won or lost. But in my opinion, you learn more from performances than results in the first 10-15 games.

I've been pleased with the performances - in the most part - and that's why I'm sure we'll be fine this season.

At this very moment I think a bad performance and a win is certainly a better scenario than an inspiring performance and another defeat.
We need to start winning a few to keep clear of the bottom slots and another 65% possession game with nil points at the end of it would start to become a bit of a ball and chain around our ankles.
