The majority of negative comments aimed at Craig Bellamy com

Fri Oct 02, 2026 3:29 pm

The majority of negative comments aimed at Craig Bellamy come from bitter Cardiff fans who are upset that he doesn’t select their poor-quality players.

The only Cardiff player who’s worthy of selection is Dylan Lawlor - It’s time for Cardiff fans to come to terms with that fact.

The biggest criticism of Craig Bellamy was that he brought on a useless Jack b*stard midfielder in a play off game thus forgoeing any chance of reaching the World Cup.

Put your Union Jack flag back round your shoulders and crawl back to Planet Swamp.

The problem you have with fools like this is that they don’t understand the concept of what their audience truly thinks of them, so they are simply encouraged by anyone who interacts with them

What people should note is that ‘Proud Jack’ (and his ilk) rarely responds to any comments made to him. He’s one of those sad ‘nip in, nip out’ merchants, who simply sets up a (knowingly) to get a rise out of genuine Bluebirds

Why? I’m not too sure, other than he/they have ‘needs’ that require him/them to seek the attention of others

He’s not a true ‘Jack’ in my eyes. His geographical location suggests he’s either just another ‘bandwagon jumper’ or (as stated) an ‘attention seeker’ using the ‘Jacks’ as a tool (a very appropriate word)

It’s quite sad really, but the reality is that if we ‘ban’ him, he is likely to reinvent himself to get his ‘fix’, such are his ‘attention needs’, which despite my personal opinion of the character, means the wise ‘moderating’ decision at this stage is to simply know who/where he/they are and allow others the choice of whether to engage or ignore

As someone once said to me, ‘it’s better not to engage with an idiot, because they’ll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience’

As ever, myself and the other active moderators will keep an eye out and make decisions that best suit this Forum as a whole :ayatollah:

I do find it weird how so many have turned against him on here.

You might be right.

Massively over achieving with what’s at his disposal.

Seriously no Moore ,Colwill or Ashford untill too late and brings on Harris. Moans at criticism- out of his depth. Will be gone soon.

Oh I forgot about those massive world class players he has, that are so good they can’t even make first team for their 2nd tier clubs.

And people think we should be putting these teams to bed. Hahaha. Delusional.

Always find it a bit odd when people like a coach because they say something negative about Tan.

It's like this summer when people were demanding BBM speak out against the board. Number one, he'd be sacked. Number two, people made assumptions based on nothing in regards to the transfer window.

I personally remain convinced that Bellamy won't succeed as Wales manager. It's not the defeats, expect us to lose to the likes of Portugal and Denmark. It's the lack of anything in the performances.

I think he'd do alright as a club manager because he could find players to fit his style. Problem with international football is that's obviously more of a struggle and a lot of these players can't play that way.

Some terrible selections, although in fairness he does have the weakest squad in a long time.

If we are playing Cullen, Harris, Cabango, even Davies, the others have to play amazing just to scrape a draw.
