HAVE YOU MISSED THE CARDIFF GAMES.

Postby montyblue » Sat Oct 03, 2026 6:38 pm

This nation league has peeded me off just getting back into the swing of league footy travelling home and away then all stop,
I will be glad to get back to watching cardiff missing it big time.

Let’s hope all city fans are feeling the same and our next home game shows how much we have missed it, and our away games.

I have a life outside football but I really miss it when it stops,
and i cannot wait to get amongst the fans all together again.

2 weeks was too long so 3 weeks is like starting the season over again.
Support the team, not the regime.

Monty cant say I have! Its stop start anyway as don't go mid week... and because of this break I'll see the game on 24th but then next game is after Nov 12th! Also given up watching Wales live and haven't missed that either! Besides saves me money when no city home games on Saturdays.... tbh I haven't minded the extra international games this break as got lot more done in garden.

I have done a sh.t load of stuff i would not ordinary done but I miss the days fame in the pub before hand home and away the banter on the forum good or bad and you get totally embroiled in the season .

Gardenng to me is more of a chore than a pleasure these days ,give me a few hours with the lads on footy day ,and to be fair my missis loves the footy also ,and after the footy if we won you cannot beat that feeling looking straight away to the next game , the league position the whole think I have not lost my love just yet.

Monty think its the travelling thats biggest problem 12.30 ko is getting up 6am by ⁿ train or car .... as for gardening you seen size of it well its sorting out greenhouse and orchard ...... started on the pickle and jams! Will say at least this season can look forward to going to ccs ......

Yes, but think it's better this way than having an international break in each of September, October and November. That was too much stop-start.

Yes very much - just as we picked up our first win and were looking to build some momentum.

I know lots of fans love it but I have no interest in international football at all and rarely watch any of it apart from the briefest highlights.

Roll on the return of the Championship!

Missed it badly , im just not as invested in international football like I am with cardiff , I enjoy wales winning but it doesn't affect me for days like it does when cardiff lose , got my blackburn tickets and am counting down the days until next saturday

Yes that's what I meant. Used to be a two week break international break in each of September, October and November.

At least it's only two instead of three now.

At least Fish and Lawlor will be closer to playing; that's the only benefit really.

I doubt the Welsh players got much out of it; used as practice players in training, they would have learned more and worked on fitness with BBM if they weren't selected.

Agree, great there have been no injuries.

We should have Rubin, Lawlor and Fish fully up to speed as well.
