Car stolen from Hadfield Road

Anyone else find their car or bits of it missing after the game last night? Any Ely boys here ask their mates if there’s any chance I’ll get it back?

I have noticed at some of city’s games lots of car boots open and windows open

This was also in the news last season on Whittle Rd just off Hatfield Road, so be careful as it looks like it's still going on.

Unlikely to be Ely boys, What makes you say that? More likely Riverside or Grangetown, it's closer. If it's a match day, they could be from anywhere. Hope you didn't lose much

It was a tongue in cheek comment, (I tried a laughing emoji but it didn’t work) I’m from Barry, we had the same reputation as Ely regarding car thieves back in the 90’s. I don’t mean any disrespect to Ely people

Being honest, it came across as that, but fair enough

I’m well aware of the issue Barry (and Penarth via the Billy Banks) had back in the day. Barry itself was once reported in the ‘Boston Times’ as the ‘car crime capital of the world per capita’ (number of people living there)
