It was 5% earlier in the week & has gone up to 22% which is a fair jump, so 78% think they'll get at least a draw. Even sending back what they did it's still not a bad turn out for a Monday night considering the last time we played them it was 25.

Josh Windass will miss Wrexham's Championship opener at Cardiff City on Monday (20:00 BST) due to injury.

The forward was his side's top scorer last season with 17 goals across all competitions.

But he has not featured at all during pre-season and was also absent for the 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Friday.

Phil Parkinson confirmed that midfielder Ben Sheaf and left wing-back Liberato Cacace are progressing well and will be assessed before the contest with the Bluebirds.

"Josh, no, he's still a bit behind Sheafo. Sheafo's had a block of training in pre-season so he hasn't missed the whole of pre-season like Josh but he's getting there," said the Wrexham manager.

"Libby's only missed four or five days really, maybe a touch longer than that so it was more of a fatigue-related injury. Hopefully it's nothing more than that and he'll be back in contention."

Elsewhere, Max Cleworth stepped up his return to full fitness against Wigan Athletic in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Monday.

The centre-back has been carrying an Achilles problem but was joined by the likes of Aaron James, Dan Scarr, Ryan Longman, Ryan Barnett, George Dobson and new signing Ben Whiteman in gaining valuable game time in the 1-0 victory against the Latics.
Davis Keillor-Dunn - who operated in a front three with Bailey Cadamarteri and Harry Ashfield - netted the only goal of the contest.

"It was a really good workout," Parkinson said of the match.

"Often in those games it's getting the tempo and the intensity where you need it to make sure those lads are prepared and we were pleased with the physical data as well as the performance."

Wrexham haven't won their first away league game of the season since they returned to the EFL.

They only kept seven away clean sheets last season.

Well that's them winning tonight then! I hate stats like this. Has to be broken eventually. I will be delighted with a draw tonight.

Yeah I'll take a draw. Don't like to admit it, but they are ahead of us.

Hate to say it but Osho was very slow to get out & played him onside. Going to be even more difficult now.

Just been described as schoolboy defending from Osho.

Next 10.minutes are crucial. We've lost our heads and just need to stay in the game. We are being torn apart.

I agree. I hope I’m proved wrong but I’ve never seen what the fuss is about. Manager must see something in him though. Let’s hope his faith is repaid.

Osho is a car crash of a defender.

We got away with so much last season because of how poor some of the teams were. This season we’ll struggle.

We're being overrun in defence to absolutely nobody's surprise with Osho being the main issue so far but none of them look comfortable. On the odd occasion we do go forward Salech is going to get pulled up a lot for all of his pushing, he needs to cut that shit out.

100%. Hes dreadful. Gifted them the lead with pure laziness stepping out.

We need a midfielder with a bit of bite to protect the back 4 and break up play.

Settling into a bit now.

Was concerned Moylan wouldn't be able to make the step up but he looks very bright. Tanner making some good inroads down the right. Scanlon has had a good start all considering. Love his pace. Ashfield been nowhere. Need more from him and Robertson.

Salech had problems last year giving away far too many free kicks against defenders - and getting roughed up. Can’t see much evidence of him sorting this problem out so far? Moore has similar issues at international level.

There’s more pace in an over 50’s team than ours.

At least Moylan looks sharp. Think he would work better with an Earnie type striker rather than Salech. Maybe slightly controversial.

The only positive from that half is that its only one nil. Every time they counter we look vulnetable. In fairness this is a makeshift back four but says something that Osho is the worst of them! We totally fizzled out of ideas at the end of the half. Very worrying perfirmance so far.

Let’s not lose our heads , this Wrexham team will be there or there about and we are finding our feet . We started terribly but have started getting more of the ball . We are desperate for players tho , this squad is too light
